Ticketing  Help

Here at Roots Hall we have introduced a new ticket system with our partners, Advance Ticketing. We want to make the experience of purchasing tickets and season cards with Southend United a quick, secure and enjoyable experience via computer, laptop, tablet or mobile. We urge supporters to secure their tickets in advance of games. To help we have listed below key tips to getting your started. If we can help in any way please contact us via: 08444 770077 or [email protected]

How to log-in for the first time if you are an EXISITING Southend United customer:

1. You will need to enter your customer number or the email address registered with our old ticketing system.

2. Your password is automatically set to your postcode, this is without spaces. E.g. SS26NQ. You can change your password to something of your choice when logged in if you wish.

How to log-in for the first time if you are a new Southend United customer: 1. At the ‘Log-in’ page simply select the option to Register. Enter your personal

details – don’t worry we will look after them! How to purchase tickets:

1. Select the ticket tab and follow instructions from the drop down menu. 2. Select relevant home or away game.

3. Select relevant game you wish to attend. 4. Click Buy Tickets

5. Select from Choose your own seat OR Best available: (Home games only). A: Manually select your preferred location and seat(s) from those coloured green. Check your order on the right hand side and click Buy

B: Select your preferred stand and area with desired ticket quantity and we will automatically select the best seats available.

6. If you are purchasing away games the same process applies but all you need to do is to select the quantity of each price band you require. No seating information or map of the ground is provided. We then allocate you tickets from the batch we have been sent.

7. Once you have selected your tickets and clicked Buy you will then need to log in, this requires your customer number and password. If you haven’t got these details you can contact us.

8. From here you can select the relevant price band for each of the tickets you are purchasing.

9. If you wish you can also add Friends & Family into your account. You can do this by clicking on your name which then gives a drop down saying ‘Register friends and family’ Alternatively you can ‘Friends and family’ at the bottom of the page.

• What is Friends & Family? We want to reward regular purchasers and attendees of Southend games – by registering your Friends & Family their attendance will be recorded against their account meaning they will gain future ticket priority for the really big games!

10. You just need your Friends/Family customer number(s), surname(s) and postcode(s).

11. Click ‘Add to my Friends & Family.

12. Back in your basket you can view who has what ticket allocated from your Friends & Family.

13. In your basket you can then save your selection as your favourite seat. To do this click the star icon on the right hand side – then next time you purchase you can re-purchase that seat – subject to availability.

14. Click Check out

15. You will then need to enter your payment details.

16. Upon completion an on-screen summary will be displayed and a confirmation email sent – Enjoy the game!

How to Buy a New Season Ticket:

A Season Card holder at Roots Hall allows Blues Fans to show their support and save money!
