both at sea and ashore, as a consequence of the participation in the event. The fact that yachts have been considered eligible to enter the race does not make the Committee responsible for their seaworthiness and for the competence of their crews. Again, it is the responsibility of the owner or of the responsible person onboard only to decide whether or not to go out at sea for racing and to continue racing, based on the capacity of the crew, the force of the wind, the state of the sea, the weather forecasts and whatever factor is to be considered by a competent seaman. In this respect, it is reminded to all participants that, this being an offshore race, the only assistance that will be available is the one provided by the Italian Maritime Authorities. The owner is the sole responsible for the safety of his yacht, of its suitability, as equipped and fitted, to the requirements of the offshore navigation, and for the safety of all crew and people on board.

16 – Press

A Press Office will be available at the Race Office of the Organizing Authority (Lega Navale Italiana, Sezione di Manfredonia). Media representatives wishing to cover the event are kindly requested to apply to the Committee not later than the 5 May 2015:
