Phineal offers services specialized in engineering

for all different stages of solar energy generation

- from the evaluation of the solar resources to the

commissioning of a solar plant.

Due to its experience in quality assurance (QA)

Phineal contributes to reduce the uncertainty

associated to the investment and the execution

ANALYSIS OF THE SOLAR RESOURCE AND DATA PROCESSING

· Design and installation of measuring stations to analyse the solar radiation and other meteorological variables (as needed).

· Measurement of solar radiation in horizontal and inclined plane (pyranometres ISO9060, Secondary Standard).

· Data processing by BSRN-WMO standards.

· Setting up time series to analyse the photovoltaic energy generation.

AUDITORING OF PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATIONS

· Audit commissioning: operating voltage measurement, electrical

protection verification, measurement of grounding.

· Measurement of inclined solar radiation [W / m2] and energy production at low voltage of the photovoltaic plant [MWh]. Elaboration of a report with the output power vs. expected power.

- Inspection of the inclined angle, distances and verification of equipment

and installed modules.

EARLY DETECTION OF FAILURE IN STRINGS THROUGH MONITORING OF REAL ENERGY GENERATION VS IDEAL GENERATION

Development of a rapid response system before failure of strings through the monitoring of the real power generation level measured in the SCB compared with the ideal power generation level calculated through the measurement of solar radiation in real time.

MAINTENANCE PLAN OF THE MODULES THROUGH MONITORING OF THE DEPOSITED DUST LEVEL

By measuring the deposition of dust (soiling) through a network of measurement stations phiNet20 and an advanced telemetry system, a maintenance plan for the cleaning of the modules is being developed. The aim is to optimize the level of energy generation of the plant and to minimize the consumption of resources for its maintenance.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTEGRATED PLATFORM TO MEASURE, ACQUIRE AND MANAGE SOLARMETRICAL DATA AND OTHER METEOROLOGICAL VARIABLES

Measuring systems integration, acquisition and management of data in

a configurable platform according to the requirements of the client

developed to simplify the management of the information, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic plants. It can be adapted to other applications as well like monitoring and prospection of the energetic potential of other renewable sources.

Sello Sol is a pioneer initiative that allows owners of solar installations to prove the production of solar energy through their own photovoltaic system in a form of a seal.

The main objects of the seal correspond to validate the electric installation of the photovoltaic system below standard of Chilean electrical regulations as well as the legal requirements of distributed generation by a standardized process which is being validated with the data that is being generated by the network of phiNet.cl measuring stations and a national governmental institution. Additionally all installations that received this seal count with a monitoring platform that enables to access the data of power generation of the system creating a quantitative base of comparison for the analysis of the generating systems on a country level.
