Introduction
The purpose of this document is to communicate enhancements, fixes, and known problems and workarounds.
This document describes the General Availability of the Everbridge Suite Winter 2015 release, version 4.0.0.

Enhancements Introduced in This Release
The following table lists the Everbridge Suite-related enhancements. Product/Product Area Feature Description
Member Portal Single Sign-On and Logout Users with SSO enabled will be able to log into their Everbridge Suite member portal with their SSO user name and password. Logging out of member portal will redirect SSO user to the login portal page. Refer to Everbridge University for SSO learning courses. Manager Portal Single Logout Logging out of the manager portal will redirect SSO
users to the SSO Welcome page. Refer to Everbridge University for SSO learning courses. Weather Custom Templates For automated weather alerts, users have the ability
to create custom configurations for notifications on specific weather events using templates.
Weather Custom Templates Automated templates can now be delivered based on location and subscription, location only or add static contacts as individuals, groups, or polygons. Weather Custom Templates New feature to customize the alert wait period for
hail and lightning.
Weather Custom Templates Added option to apply Quiet Period settings across all contacts.
Scheduling Export New export functionality added to scheduling. Calendars can be exported in PDF or Excel format. Notification Voice Delivery To enhance security for voice calling, users’
Organizations will have the ability to configure a numeric Voice Delivery PIN for voice notifications. When enabled for a notification, the recipient will be required to enter the Voice Delivery PIN prior to listening to the message.
REST API Notification The API supports RTF in the body of notification and incidents for the email delivery path.
Settings Custom FROM Email Address
New premium feature for clients to customize the From Email address for emails sent from Everbridge Suite. Refer to the additional documentation in client portal.
Notification Secure Push Users will be able to define a URL in the Everbridge Suite and configure their notifications to be sent to this URL.

Zapier platform Everbridge Suite app Everbridge is introducing an app for the Zapier platform. Zapier is an integration platform that allows interactions between web applications. The Everbridge app on the Zapier website is called Everbridge Suite. Users can create integrations between the Everbridge Suite app and other web apps available on the Zapier website. Our
Everbridge Suite app allows users to Create, Update, and Delete Contacts. Additionally, the Everbridge Suite app allows users to send Notifications to Groups and launch Incidents from templates. NOTE: Zapier users who would like to use the Everbridge Suite App on the Zapier Platform should first create their Groups, Notification Templates, and Incident Templates in the Everbridge Suite Manager Portal.

PM-787 Notification When adding individual contacts to a notification, the user can now create a rule 'on the fly’ with advanced search. Once created, the rule is automatically added as a selection, allowing the user to 'select all' contacts that resulted from a search. MN-1740 Reports Extensions and device PIN values are now
displayed on custom reports.

RA-23 Contact API API users will have improved validation and error handling in the POST method for Name, Address, and Delivery Paths fields. RA-124 Notification Search results will contain information for
the organization that was in the GET request.

Known Issues in This Release
The following table lists the known issues related to Everbridge Suite. Each known issue will be addressed in a future release, if applicable.

Site Translations The text on some pages may not be completely translated for some site languages when you change the site language from “English (United States)”. Updates will be implemented in a future release.
IV-194 Notification > Secure Push
The Secure Push notification shows up in the Universe tab under Mobile Member App widget but it should not.
MN-2143 Notification > Secure Push
The Mobile Member path displays in the detailed report even after the Secure Push feature is unchecked in the Organization Settings.
RA-23 Contact API 1. User can POST contacts with any Delivery Paths. Everbridge will not validate the Service Provider data for the delivery path.
2. Location Name of Address is limited to 50 characters via the API, but only 40 characters are allowed from the UI. ZAP-2 Zapier platform If the Zapier users are not Everbridge Suite
API users, they will receive an Authentication Error.
A Zapier user should be an Everbridge Suite Account Administrator or Organization Administrator with API permissions. ZAP-13 Zapier platform Delete Contact option requires the user to
enter the “Record Type Id”.
Workaround: Using a Chrome Browser, right-click the Record Type name in Everbridge Manager Portal (Organization Settings > Contacts and Groups > Contact Record Types) and click Inspect Element. This will show the Internal Id of the Record Type.
