DETAIL OF ROLES AND PROJECTS October 2002 –

September 2015

DG IMPIANTI INDUSTRIALI: As Chief Operating Officier the main target was to “change” the traditional engineering company working mainly in Italy for few Italian Customers into an EPC Contractor in position to face complex oil&gas projects on international market.

With such purpose the Company structure was changed with the creation of expert process and offshore structural departments and, since 2007, Company has been awarded with some EPC and process packages contracts.

Because of the small dimensions of the Company, a strong marketing and commercial activity has been carried out worldwide with contract negotiation on some international projects:

 2007: Customer NorthSun – EPC Contract for the Gas Production and Treatment Plant of Castello (Rivolta d’Adda, CR)

 2007: Customer NorthSun – EPC Contract for the Gas Production and Treatment Plant of Sillaro (Medicina, BO)

 2008: Custmer: ENPPI – Pig Traps supply for offshore projects

 2009: Customer: KHALDA PETROLEUM - Design and Supply of Delsalting and Dehydration Units for crude oil (3 trains)

 2010: Customer: EPP – Design and Supply of a Propane Electrical Heater

 2011: Customer: Petronas – Cendor FPSO - Gas Dehydration and Glycol Regeneration Module

 2013: Customer: Rosetti Marino – Marlin Project – Design and Supply of an Electrostatic Crude Oil Coalescer

 2014: Customer: Raffinerie di Gela – EPS for Sulphur Recovery Unit

On all such projects I have been personally involved in contract negotiation, procurement and project direction.

Furthermore, such development has lead to invest in new companies worldwide with the start-up of DG Engineering & Contracting in Egypt and ARCI in India where, respectively, I am CEO and Board Member; I am still involved in the activities of both companies whose set-up is aimed to a greater business development for DG Impianti.

Meanwhile, DG Impianti still plays an active role in engineering and design; structural department has carried out design for several offshore platfrom up to 130 meters water depth and process office has developed a propter technology for crude oil electrostatic coalescers, gas dehydration systems and produced water treatments. All design activities and process design for awarded projects are developed internally; process guarantees are also issued. Pipeline design is also normally carried out and I was initially personally involved in mechanical design of steel and GRP pipelines for traing purpose of young mechanical engineers.
