I am directed to say that the following proposals have been considered by the Empowered Committee in its 154th meeting held on 14.09.2011: -

1. M/s Deccan Charters Ltd..: Grant of initial NOC to operate Scheduled Air Transport Regional Services in Gujarat (Western Region)_

5. M/s Jet Airways (India) Ltd.: Permission for (i) import of 03 B 737-800 aircraft & (ii) import of 05 ATR 72-600 aircraft as replacement of existin .05 ATR 72-500 aircraft yr-ri

6. M/s Jetlite (India) Ltd. : Permission for import of 02 B 737-900 ER aircraft (01 aircraft as a replacement of 0.1 B 737-800 aircraft (VT-SIK) for scheduled Air transport (passenger) Services

The GomMittee approved the proposal.

7. M/s. Taurian Iron & Steel Co. Pvt. Ltd.: Grant of initial NOC to operate Non Scheduled Air Transport Services and NOC to change the category of one Kin.g Air B-200 aircraft VT-BAS from "Private" to "Passenger".

The Committee approved the proposal in accordance with the CAR, Section 3, AIR TRANSPORT, SERIES 'C' PART III, dated 1st JUNE 2010 regarding minimum requirements for grant of initial NOC to

- The Committee approved the proposal in accordance with the CAR, Section 3, AIR TRANSPORT, SERIES 'C' PART IV, dated 26.08.1997 regarding minimum requirements for grant of initial NOC to operate Non-Scheduled Air Transport (Cargo) Services and any other related notification issued from time to time.

14. M/s Lakshya Aviation Pvt. Ltd.: 1st Extension of initial NOC to operate Non Scheduled Air Transport Services for a further period of six months beyond 24.09.2011 i.e. 23.03.2012.

The Committee approved the proposal in accordance with the CAR, Section 3, AIR TRANSPORT, SERIES 'C' PART III, dated 1st JUNE 2010 regarding minimum requirements for grant of initial NOC to operate Non-Scheduled Air Transport Services and any other related notification issued from time to time.

15. M/s. SEL Aviation Private Limited: - Review of the decision of the Empowered Committee for cancellation of permission to import of one King air C-90 B GTi aircraft for non-scheduled air transport services

The Committee had rejected the application earlier on account of the fact that the document indicating availability of night parking was found to be fabricated. Reference was made to AAI to proceed legally against the applicant. During the meeting the applicant was asked to produce a copy of the FIR filed with the Police, that they claimed to have done. They did not produce the same. The approval of the application will be considered on production of the copy of FIR which would indicate that there was no collusion between the applicant and his consultant

16. M/s. Saraya Aviation Pvt. Ltd. : Permission to acquire one King Air C-90 (VT-RAM) aircraft for Non Scheduled air Transport Services from M/s. White City Aviation Pvt. Ltd.

The ComMittee approved the.proposal in atcordahce with the :CAR;Section3, AIR TRANSPORT, SERIES - C' PART III, dated 1st JUNE 2010 regarding minimum requirements for grant of initial NOC to operate. The Committee approved the proposal in accordance with the CAR, Section 3, AIR TRANSPORT, SERIES 'C' PART III, dated 1st JUNE 2010 regarding minimum requirements for grant of initial NOC to operate Non-Scheduled Air Transport Services and any other related notification issued from time to time.

20. M/s. Religare Aviation Ltd.: Import of_on e_Falcon_2000-aircraft-for-Non-Scheduled Air Transport Services.

22. M/s. CDR Aviation Pvt. Ltd. : Permission to acquire one Bell 407 Helicopter (VT-SPN) from M/s. Span Air for Non Scheduled air Transport Services .

The Committee approved the proposal in accordance with the CAR, Section 3, AIR TRANSPORT, SERIES 'C' PART III, dated 1st JUNE 2010 regarding minimum requirements for grant of initial NOC to operate Non-Scheduled Air Transport Services and any other related notification issued from time to time.
