PRELUDEWELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS
THEME All Saints Day – We are all Connected OPENING THOUGHTS
Oh Lord I want to be in that number When the Saints Go Marching In. We can all be heros, if just for one day.
David Bowie Saints were saints because they acted with loving kindness,
whether they felt like it or not.
Dan Millman
I can do things you cannot, but you can do things I cannot. Together, we can do great things.

We Are So Glad You Are Here!
Come and Find the Quiet Centre
OPENING PRAYER (kindly read the bold print)Blessed are you, oh God;
For you are holy, gracious, and good, the hope of all the faithful.
Empower the meek and encourage the poor. Comfort those who mourn and fill humble hearts with gladness. Give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, peace to the peacemakers, mercy to the merciful, and honour to the despised.
Sustain your saints in ministry, until at last they see their reward: the joy of eternal life with you;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
OPENING HYMN V.U. #710 Shall We Gather At the River
TAIZÉ Be still and know that I am God
PRAYER OF CONFESSION (Kindly read the bold print) Merciful God,
we confess that we have sinned against you, in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done,
and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you
with all our whole heart and mind and strength. We have not loved our neighbours as ourselves. We are truly sorry.
In your mercy forgive what we have been, help us to amend what we are
that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways;
through Jesus Christ. AMEN. ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Our God fulfils his promises and is true to his word. We have confessed our sins.
God has forgiven us,
because Christ died for us. Amen.
TAIZÉ Be still and know that I am God

HYMN V.U. #402 We Are One
SERMON We Are All Connected
PASTORAL PRAYER (all kindly read the bold print) Lord, we pray for the power to be gentle;
the strength to be forgiving; the patience to be understanding;
and the endurance to accept the consequences of holding to what we believe to be right.
May we put our trust in the power of good to overcome evil and the power of love to overcome hatred.
We pray for the vision to see and the faith to believe in a world emancipated from violence,
a new world where fear shall no longer lead men to commit injustice, nor selfishness make them bring suffering to others.
Help us to devote our whole life and thought and energy to the task of making peace,
praying always for the inspiration and the power
to fulfill the destiny for which we and all people were created. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray saying:
Our Father…….

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CORONAVIRUS PROCEDURES
For those of you who wish to return to church there are some protocols we will be following which have been recommended by the Local health Unit. These will be strictly adhered to in the following outline.
2. Congregants will enter and exit by the Narthex Door (main door at the front). The North Entrance (Elevator Entrance off Church Street) is also
available for those who need the elevator. Names will be recorded as per Health Unit guidelines.
3. Congregants will be directed to a seat in the sanctuary which will be marked in advance for safe social distancing. (Obviously, people who live in the same home will be sitting together)
4. We will not be moving around during the service; people are asked to respect each other's space. People are asked to refrain from using or touching hymn books or Bibles.
FOOD BANK NEWS
WE ASK YOU TO CONTINUE TO HELP TRINITY SUPPORT THE FOOD BANK. At this time, please note that we are NOT accepting donations for the food bank. P.A.R
.
(PRE-AUTHORIZED REMITTANCE) YOU DON’T HAVE TO GIVE SUNDAY GIVINGS A SECOND THOUGHT SHOULD YOU GO ON P.A.R., it’s simple, it’s easy, it’s accurate. Come and see Courtney in the office during the week!Update from the Search Committee The work of the Search Team is moving ahead. We have had our first meeting which included some training by our Shining Waters Regional Council Liaison, Barb Hendren. Subsequently, we have sought and received approval for a short-term (up to 12 months) supply
appointment. This means that the Search Team will undertake concurrent work to look for a short-term minister and eventually, a candidate for permanent ministry.
Our Community of Faith Profile and Position Description are now posted on ChurchHub. This is an online tool where ministers who are seeking a new pastoral relationship have likewise posted their profile and can see the Profiles of churches that are seeking a new minister.
In the meantime, pulpit supply has been booked for all Sundays until the end of the year. Barb Hendren reminds us that this process will unfold in God's time. Please keep the Search Team and the process in your prayers.
