A Knowledge Leader in Security

Security services delivered by experienced profes-sionals allow client organizations to focus on their core competencies. Costs for non-core activities are reduced and internal resources can be used for other purposes. Partnerships develop in which we not only achieve defined goals, but also proactively identify

and address future needs by participating in your strategic planning process. Most importantly, clients may benefit from an integrated security solution that is demonstrably superior to what is currently in place – a program that is designed and managed to the highest professional standards.

Contract security services are often viewed as a traditional security

officer making patrol inspections or controlling access at a fixed post.

While these functions remain crucial to security at many locations,

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is able to offer, through its

affiliated companies and specialty divisions, a much broader

range of security solutions that can add significant value to

client organizations.

(6)

Our Footprint

The business philosophy of Securitas USA is to create value and improve

quality for our clients, and we achieve these goals because of our lateral

organization that consists of more than 500 local offices. This creates a

strong base that is both flexible and client-oriented.

Our five geographic regional offices guide and support their local branch offices that, in turn, support the officers in the field. Securitas USA places great emphasis on empowering local branches to rapidly respond to your requirements. By placing resources

at the local level where they can be used most effectively, we strive to add value by keeping close proximity to both our clients and security officers.

Operational Analysis

Our goal is to become a long-term, strategic security partner with each client

organization. We can begin by working with clients to assess their existing security

programs and determine if changes are necessary to better serve their security

needs and business objectives.

These include:

• A high-quality, professionally managed, integrated security program.

• Reduced costs from outsourcing non-core services.

• Ability to productively redeploy internal resources. • Reduced employee turnover and training costs. • Ease of administration with one point of contact and accountability.

• Simplified billing with one invoice for all security services.

• Standardized screening, hiring and training. • Performance-based measurement aligned with client expectations.

The first component of a risk assessment is the Operational Analysis, which provides an understand-ing of the existunderstand-ing physical security measures at the facility or site. To standardize and simplify this initial process, Securitas USA uses a custom-designed operational analysis tool that assists in developing a risk assessment of the facility. We will then propose the best security alternative, utilizing on-site, mobile and remote guarding, if the client so desires, to offer a cost-effective and comprehensive security program. Several factors should be considered when evaluating security services in addition to the direct costs of per-sonnel and equipment. When an organization relies on Securitas USA as a single source provider for all of its security needs, there are a number of advantages.

Mobile Guarding

Mobile Guarding allows businesses of all sizes to have access to the world-class

protection, high-caliber officers and advanced technologies that make Securitas

USA a knowledge leader in security. After performing a detailed analysis of your

site, Securitas USA will create an innovative, flexible solution that meets your

security needs as well as your budget.

Advantages include:

Protection and deterrence from theft and vandalism – random, regular checks by officers in clearly marked Securitas USA vehicles send the message that you take your security seriously. Real-time reporting – advances in technology enable a Mobile officer to create online reports while on-site – instantly providing alerts concerning any security issues. Instead of arriving at work to find a problem, clients receive a complete review of the night’s activity.

Consistent service – multiple locations can receive synchronized service, whether separated by a few blocks or several states.

Reduction in false alarm fees – using Mobile Guarding as a first response can help eliminate false alarms for local law enforcement, thereby saving money and promoting goodwill.

When you rely on Mobile Guarding to monitor

your facility, you know the first response will

be appropriate.

Mobile Guarding by Securitas USA offers comprehen-sive security through innovative and cost-effective packages. Cutting-edge technology and software, combined with specially-trained Mobile officers, creates real-time security that helps prevent incidents, optimize security officers’ time and reduce costs.

Key elements of Mobile Guarding include: Mobile Patrol Officers

Specially-trained, vigilant and helpful officers check in at random but regimented times to perform post orders, inspect the property and assist staff as necessary.

Alarm Response

Mobile patrol officers can respond to alarms and react with the appropriate response that the situation calls for.

(11)

Remote Guarding

Advances in camera, sensory and access control technology have radically changed

how we can manage many key security duties. Where officers now control access

on-site, we can monitor remotely.

By combining ever-vigilant remote operators and security officers, we can offer the following customizable services:

Alarm Verification

Cameras scan your premises for unauthorized activity and potential threats, and deliver an audible message that security is monitoring in real-time. Remote operators can dispatch Mobile patrol officers or summon the police when the situation warrants.

Remote Employee Escort

Live video surveillance with audio notification helps provide a safe environment as employees or visitors arrive and depart the area.

Remote Entry/Exit management

On-demand processing authorizes the identities of employees and contract workers who require access to the facility.

Remote Patrol

Video-based patrols can inspect your premises and critical assets, monitor suspicious activity, and help comply with security guidelines for the client site.

Remote Perimeter Protection

Customized intelligent video analytics for each unique location automatically recognize potential threats and suspicious activity.

Remote Guarding can enhance your security program

and prove cost-effective even if you have many sites

in remote locations.

Detection

Automatic detection of suspicious movement in predefined areas or abnormal interruptions at your

Efficiency

Clients receive security services and capabilities that mirror those of an on-site security officer at a Tried and tested technology means an off-site officer can conduct a full video tour of a facility, make security announcements and manage access control for employees and visitors. The same officer can complete logs and file reports traditionally performed on-site.

Securitas USA has tailored its Remote Guarding services to help protect organizations of every size, and across nearly every industry and unique facility.

Global and National Accounts

An organization’s specific security needs often vary to include world headquarters sites, security operations centers, manufacturing plants, data centers, distribution centers, sales offices, campus environments and high rise buildings. Through the National Accounts group, these various security needs are managed through a customized national security program and result in a consistently high level of client satisfaction.

The National Accounts service delivery model is organized into industry-specific vertical markets, each led by a vice president dedicated to imple-menting an account structure that supports each specific client organization. More than just marketing, sales or transition leaders, these vice presidents remain engaged in ongoing account development throughout the entire client relation-ship, including selection, training and coaching of account management personnel; facilitating the sharing of best practices; benchmarking among clients; developing value-added service strategies targeted specifically for that industry segment; and, most importantly, helping provide consistency and standardization of service delivery across the entire account.

help with consistent communication, performance management, and support functions. Securitas personnel in these countries are integrated into the global and national account management team and operate within the same contractual and service excellence framework as their U.S. counterparts. The Global and National Accounts group takes every step necessary to manage cultural, language and legal differences when working across several continents to develop a successful global security program.

In countries where Securitas does not have a branded presence, the Global and National Accounts group has established long standing alliance partnerships with local security providers to meet the needs of its clients. The Global and National Accounts group maintains the primary relationship with the client, and clearly defines the account requirements, roles and responsibilities, personnel and training standards, and oversight accountabilities.

As part of a customized national or global security program, Securitas can also provide specialized services through embedded positions within the client organization. These specialty services cover security administration and support, executive protection, fire prevention and response, investi-gations, global intelligence analysis, technology and mobile services, and are integrated into the customized security program on permanent, long term and short term assignments.

The Securitas USA National Accounts group serves the specialized needs of

large clients across a broad geographic area. Over the years, the group has

developed and refined a flexible model for delivering integrated security

solutions while meeting the diverse needs of its clients.
