Process designer with over 11 years experience in developing process diagrams like PFD, UFD and P&IDs during various phases of Detail engineering, FEED and basic Engineering projects in LNG, Refinery, Gas development, IGCC, Petrochemical and Power Plant. Major Project Experience:

TAKREER RRE FEED Project (Since July ’08):

Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (Takreer) is installing a new refinery to be built adjacent to the existing refinery at Ruwais to augment the crude oil processing capacity. The expansion will consist of grass-roots process units and supporting facilities including utilities and offsite such as tankage, blending and jetty

facilities. The overall objective of the RRE is to produce maximum propylene and premium grade fuels (Jet, Gas Oil, and Gasoline) with an RFCC as the core unit for atmospheric residue upgrading.

Role:

• Team Leader for 15 Designers.

• Creating Process & Instrumentation Diagrams using Intergraph’s Smart Plant P&ID 2007 for Tankages, Utilities and Marine Facilities.

• Creating PFD, UFD and Fire & Safety Equipment Layout using Microstation J.

• Extract reports from the Database for LDT, Valve list, General Equipment, Electrical Load List, Specialty items and Instrument List.

• Publishing and retrieving the data from New Delhi to London office. • Troubleshooting and Production enhancement activities for the team. • Soft Quality Check for the deliverables.

Angola LNG Project (Jan’07 to July ‘08):

ANGOLA LNG Project is an EPC project jointly executed with New Delhi and Houston office. New Delhi office handled Flare system; utility area (Fuel Gas, Nitrogen, Potable water) and Feed preheat system.

Role:

• Worked 2 months in Houston office before transferring the job to New Delhi office.

• Creating Process & Instrumentation Diagrams using Intergraph’s Smart Plant P&ID.

• Extract reports from the Database for LDT, Valve list, General Equipment, Electrical Load List, Specialty items and Instrument List.

OGD III: Onshore Development Project III:

This is one of the GASCO projects based in Abu Dhabi. I have involved as a Smart Plant P&ID Designer for this project during EPC phase.

Environment: Smart Plant P&ID (V-4.3) and Smart Sketch (V-5.0). AGD II: Abu Dhabi Gas Company (Expansion project):

This is one of the GASCO projects based in Abu Dhabi with a net capacity of 780MMscfd NGL recovery plant. I have involved as a Smart Plant Designer for this project, while doing this project faced many challenges like customization communication and standards set up.

Environment: Smart Plant P&ID (V-4.3) and Smart Sketch (V-5.0). AEP IGCC: American Electric Power Project:

This is an alliance project in between GE and Bechtel IGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle), I have involved as a CAD Designer to support Houston office

Environment: Smart Plant P&ID (V-4.3) and Smart Sketch (V-5.0). RAS LAFFAN NATURAL GAS Ltd., QATAR:

RasGas is a leading liquefied natural gas producer and exporter in the state of Qatar. In this project, scope is conversion of the existing Microstation P&ID’s to Smart Plant Intelligent P&ID’s for two trains of Natural gas development project. After conversion of existing train drawings, it is used in creation of P&ID’s for new two trains.

Environment: Smart Plant P&ID (V-4.3) and Smart Sketch (V-5.0). JANA HASSAD EPICHOLROHYDRIN PROJECT

JANA project contains some units like AAL, CCL, ECH OSBL-O and OSBL-U. In this project, scope is conversion of the existing Auto CAD P&ID’s to Smart Plant P&ID’s.

QATAR GAS II DEVELOPMENT PROJECT:

Qatar Gas project is an offshore project. In this project, scope is conversion of the existing Auto CAD P&ID’s to Smart Plant P&ID’s.

Environment: Smart Plant P&ID (V-4.3) and Smart Sketch (V-5.0). LEASED FPSO:

This project includes two projects Generic and Gulfihno. . In this project, scope is conversion of the existing Auto CAD P&ID’s to Smart Plant P&ID’s.

Environment: Smart Plant P&ID (V-4.3) and Smart Sketch (V-5.0). PETROFAC:

In this project, scope is conversion of the existing Auto CAD P&ID’s to PDS-2D P&ID for Amine unit, TEG unit and Oil & Gas separator.

Environment: PDS-2D.

RAS LAFFAN NATURAL GAS Ltd., QATAR:

RasGas maintains its existing process and related drawings in AutoCAD format. In this project, scope is conversion of the existing Auto CAD Process Diagrams (P&ID’s) / Architectural / Structural / Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation to Microstation V7. The work involves high attention on Engineering Data of various drawings and keen study of each detail in order to create a particular drawing that will be “to scale” in all respects.

Role:

• Played key role in entire project right from scratch to the end • Generating the drawings

• Creating Cell Libraries and Standardizing them in order to establish easy creation and consistency in drawings.

• Updating and reviewing project status from time to time and act accordingly

• Quality Assurance of all the deliverables as per the Standards/Procedures POTOMAC ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY (PEPCO):

It involves the digitization of overhead and under ground feeder lines and equipment across substations in Washington DC and Maryland Feeder systems run across the substations from distributing the electric power to metropolitan

area. In this drafting and detailing of electrical line devices, oblimings, attribution of electrical features as per the scale defined by PEPCO. All coordinate electrical information feeder designations, equipment sizes, capacities etc., will be entered using displayable tags.

Environment: Microstation SE Role:

• As a team member performed data verification and editing of Pepco digital electrical feeder data.

• Adherence to stipulated delivery schedules maintaining quality levels. • Allotment of schedules to the team members.
