COLOSSIANS 1:20-21
15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
17And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
19For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
21
And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,
22he has now reconciled in his body
of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,
23if indeed
you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which
has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Joy To The World
By George Frideric Handel | Isaac Watts Joy to the world the Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let ev’ry heart prepare Him room And heav’n and nature sing And heav’n and nature sing
And heav’n and heav’n and nature sing Joy to the earth the Savior reigns Let men their songs employ While fields and floods Rocks hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy Repeat the sounding joy Repeat repeat the sounding joy No more let sins and sorrows grow Nor thorns infest the ground
He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found
Far as the curse is found Far as far as the curse is found
He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness And wonders of His love And wonders of His love
And wonders wonders of His love

Sunday School Review
Today I learned about ... “Mary’s Good News.” God sent a special angel named Gabriel to visit a young lady named Mary. He told her she would have a baby, and His name would be Jesus. Jesus would be God’s very own Son. Mary did not understand because she was not married. Gabriel told her with God all things are possible. Mary loved God, and told the angel she would do whatever God wanted her to do.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR PRESCHOOLER:
1. What was the angel’s name who told Mary her good news?
2. Was Mary afraid when the angel came to her?
3. What good news did the angel tell Mary?
4. What did the angel tell Mary to name the baby?
5. Who is the Father of Jesus?
6. Did Mary obey God?
MAIN TRUTH: God calls people to obey His Words.
FAMILY TIME: Make it a priority to have a Devotional Time with your child/
children. Talk about the angel visiting Mary with the news she would have baby Jesus. Explain that angels are special messengers from God.
KEY BIBLE VERSE: “Then the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God.” Luke 1 :30
