It is well known that digital posters and displays are much more engaging compared with static printed posters. However, research suggests that digital displays that only
show adverts are less likely to engage with consumers. By zoning content shown on the screen or mixing adverts with other useful and engaging information such as social media feeds, weather updates or the latest travel status for the underground screens are far more likely to grab attention and increase dwell time.
Our Dynamic Digital Signage Pack provides you with all of the essential tools to transform your messaging into captivating and dynamic content. Content can be combined with TV and video streaming and live feeds can be displayed such as weather feeds or updates from the London underground achieving optimised and enhanced performance.

Apps Included:
DVD.
Allows the playback of DVDs on a specified page within your project. Playback can be controlled by setting actions such as play and fast-forward.
*For commercial DVD playback the Corel DVD XPack app for Windows media Player is required and must be installed on the player.
Graph Creator.
This app enables the easy creation of vertical, Horizontal or Bar graph based on data stored in an XML file. Amending the graph is simple and does not require editing the actual graph artwork instead all you have to do is update the file source and the graph automatically updates accordingly. The appearance of the graph can be set by the user include font, size, colour, background and background image.
Master Volume.
If playing media such as video or audio files this app allows you to control the master volume on a particular unit and controls the sounds on individual pages. On Vista and Windows 7 the app will only control the volume of the current application i.e. Acquire.
Media Slideshow.
Within Acquire you can select the media files you want to be included in your projects.
However, locating all of your media from your computer can be time consuming. The Media Slideshow app scans computer folders to quickly locate media files including movies, audio tracks and images. Once located the app maintains an internal directory of media files so that they are visible and ready to use within your project.
Media Streamer.
One way to make your digital signage project a lot more engaging is to stream live media that is relevant to your target audience. The Media Streamer allows you to stream a host of live media such as videos, TC and audio files directly to your screens. Streaming is done safely and intelligently by efficiently managing potential loss of internet connection or buffering of streams. The app can also be set to carry our specific actions or controls such as, jump to a different page, quit page or use a different media file in the instance of a last or poor connection.
Music.
Add ambient background music to your digital signage project for an enhanced user experience. Music is managed using the integral music playlist editor and can be set to accompany 1 page, a range of pages or accompany an entire project. The playback volume can be controlled using the other apps included within this pack.
PDF Viewer.
If you already have files saved as PDFs and do not wish to recreate the content on your project pages you can use the PDF viewer app to include and successfully display PDFs within your digital project.
PowerPoint Viewer.
If you already have an effective PowerPoint presentation that you would like to include on your digital display and you do not wish to recreate it the PowerPoint Viewer app allows you to include existing PowerPoint files. You can select specific slides or an entire presentation to be displayed and actions can also be pre-set so that once the presentation finishes other pages within your campaign load seamlessly for uninterrupted playback. This App require Version 9.4 or above.
Programme Loader.
As part of your digital signage project you may wish to display certain file types that require an external programme to be running in order to play them. The Programme Loader app automatically launches programmes if required by particular files types used on your pages within your campaign and once the programme has been used it automatically closes and ensures that the next page within your digital campaign loads seamlessly. The app can be configured to execute specific tasks as well as terminate programmes once they have been used.
Screen Sleep.
If you have screens located in office blocks, buildings or reception areas that may only be viewed during the day, you may wish to turn your displays off overnight and back on again in the morning. However, this can be difficult if you are managing screens from a central remote location. Instead of doing this manually Screen Sleep enables you to specify on and off times saving power and increasing the longevity of the screens.
Subtitle.
If playing audio files or streaming live TV you may be required to show subtitles. This is particularly important in busy, noisy locations or in a hospital waiting room. Using this app subtitles can be assigned to a particular video or audio file when it is displayed on the screen and can be set to play at specific times. The position and style of the subtitles can also be specified. By updating a file in which the subtitles are stored, Acquire will make automatic updates to the content displayed on the screens.
Tube Updates.

TV.
Showing popular TV programmes while displaying your own messaging and adverts is proven to be an effective tactic compared with advertising alone because it increases engagement. Unlike the Media Streamer the app does not require an internet connection.
Instead, the app displays TV from an external device such as a video capture card, TC card or ecen web cam. The app supports pictures from Analogue TV, DVB-T TV and most TV cards. With this app you can also adjust volume settings, resolutions and achieve seamless playback between pages.
Video.
The Video Playback Editor provides an advanced level of control allowing you to managing the playback of all video media files. More specifically, the app enables you to define audio and visual settings such as volume fade in and out, brightness, hue, contrast and saturation. The app also includes a clipping tool so that you can identify and playback a specific piece of footage rather than an entire video. With advanced functionality the app can also perform intelligent actions such as jumping to another page, or quitting a page once the video has finished playing, providing you with ultimate control of your content and seamless playback.
Volume Control.
When playing audio from a ‘line in’ source such as a radio or microphone this app provides full control of the volume settings for the duration of the page on which the audio has been included. When pages are first loaded the volume can be set to fade in reaching the volume level specified. Settings for individual speakers can be adjusted individually.
Weather.
Powered by AccuWeather.com this app enables you to include reliable, accurate weather updates for your local area. The app does require you to have a subscription with Accu Weather, details of which will be stored in Acquire. The app can also be programmed to determine how frequently the weather updates refresh and the appearance of the weather feeds and how they are displayed can also be specified.
