PLEASE NOTE CHANGES MOVING FORWARD

1. Our event will become a Pro-Am tournament moving forward. The first 32 Korn Ferry Tour - PGA

professionals will have the opportunity to win one exemption spot to play in the Wichita Open, which will be held June 18-12, 2021. In the event we do not have 32 Korn Ferry Tour - PGA players, then next in line status (seen on PGA Golf Professional Entry) will determine selection process. However, Rick Navarro may override with special invites to participate in the Pro segment! On June 4th_{(Fri), 2020, we will have a}

Zoom team drawing at 6pm for professionals or those interested.

2. We have formed a new tax-exempt organization called AUGGIE NAVARRIO SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION, separate from The Wichita Jr. Golf Foundation in order to give us additional flexibility in designating scholarship recipients; and to support The First Tee Organization & continue with The Wichita Jr. Golf Foundation.

3. Along with the newly formed organization, we have established an endowment for

AUGGIE NAVARRIO SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION.

Any additional contributions may be designated for the endowment fund and will create a source of scholarship funding long into the future.

4. All future tee sign contributors will be deposited into the endowment account.

AUGGIE NAVARRO PRO-AM TOURNAMENT

Rules

• Pairings for the Auggie Navarro Pro-Am will be done via Facebook Live Saturday June 12th at 10am. This will be at the conclusion of player auction and raffle ticket purchases.

• The scramble teams may use the Professionals position to hit from after the Pro has completed the shot first. The professional will finish the hole on the green before the scramble team starts putting. Scramble teams may use the professionals score on any hole.

• If not using the Pro’s position, the ball position may be improved no more than 12ʺ & remain in the same cut of grass. (rough in rough) etc.

• Four (4) person scramble

• Ball position may be improved no more than 12” & remain in the appropriate area (rough stays in rough, etc.)

• Limited to the first 128 golfers or 32 teams • Professionals/Qualifiers play from the BLACK tees • Men play from the BLUE tees

• Men over 60 yrs. of age play from WHITE tees • Women play from RED tees

• A hole will be drawn at random indicating the starting hole of a scorecard playoff for team’s that are tied after 18 holes.

• Par is your friend.

• PICK UP YOUR BALL WHEN YOU’RE TEAM HAS HIT THE BALL EQUAL TO PAR ON THE HOLE BEING PLAYED.

• The two (2) putt rule is in effect.

• If everyone misses the first putt, you must pick up the ball and count the extra stroke.

Rain Information

If the event is rained out, all proceeds (less any expenses prior to the tournament) will be donated to Auggie Navarro Scholarship Foundation

All prizes will be given out by a RAFFLE DRAWING.

No rain date will be scheduled.
