On behalf of the American Heart Association and the members of the Boston Cardiovascular Nursing committee, we are respectfully requesting your support of our 22nd Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Nursing to be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Newton Marriott, Newton, MA.

The Boston Cardiovascular Nursing Education Committee has designed a highly informative agenda for our 2012 Conference on Cardiovascular Nursing. Please refer to agenda included in this Exhibitor Prospectus. The Keynote Speaker is Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD; Physician-in-Chief, Mount Sinai Medical Center; Director, Mount Sinai Heart; Director, Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute and of the Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health; Richard Gorlin, MD Heart Research Foundation Professor of Cardiology Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY.

Your financial support is essential to the American Heart Association’s professional education mission: To provide best practice and emerging scientific knowledge to healthcare and science professionals, and resources to translate that knowledge for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease and stroke. We invite you to participate as an exhibitor at this full day professional education conference. Enclosed in this prospectus is information on exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities along with a commitment form. Exhibit space is limited, so please respond as soon as possible. As an exhibitors or sponsors will receive prominent recognition in the conference’s program and receive a prime booth location in the exhibit area.

The 22nd Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Nursing will attract over 300 nurses, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This is an exceptional opportunity for exhibitors to showcase new services, technologies, equipment and pharmaceuticals. A listing of all exhibiting companies will be included in the final program, provided their exhibit reservation is received by April 9, 2012. This program is designed to increase registered nurses’ and other healthcare professionals’ knowledge of current cardiovascular issues confronting the healthcare professional caring for cardiac patients across the spectrum of care.

Exhibitors will have an opportunity to complement the conference by informing and educating the attendees on the latest developments in equipment, supplies and services that are available.

Exhibitor Opportunities

There are three levels of exhibitor space: Gold - $2,000; Silver - $1,500 and; Friend of the Heart - $1,000. Internet and electrical requirements are additional.

Gold Exhibitor ($2,000)

Includes: One 6’ draped and skirted table with four chairs in the exhibit area, company identification sign, listing in all conference materials, badges for company representatives and four ticket to the conference. Acknowledgement in opening and closing remarks.

Silver Exhibitor ($1,500)

Includes: One 6’ draped and skirted table with two chairs in the exhibit area, company identification sign, listing in all conference materials, badges for

company representatives and two tickets to the conference. Acknowledgement in opening remarks. Friend of the Heart Exhibitor ($1,000)

Space Assignment

Space will be assigned at the discretion of the American Heart Association. Exhibitors may use the exhibitor commitment form for exhibit space to designate their preference for location near other companies or their desire not to be located adjacent or opposite designated companies. These requests will be honored to the greatest extent possible.

Preferred space will be given to those companies who are Gold Exhibitors. The American Heart Association has the right to alter the floor plan at any time and will inform all effected exhibiting tables accordingly.

Commercial Support Opportunities

It is not too early to start thinking about how your company can gain extra visibility at the conference. Commercial support opportunities for this meeting will provide substantial exposure for your company. Some of the opportunities include a restricted educational grant, an audiovisual equipment sponsorship, a daily

continental breakfast sponsorship, or a morning coffee break sponsorship. Contributions are tax deductible. Support will be acknowledged prominently in the final program and syllabus, on signage outside the meeting room, and elsewhere as appropriate.
