A LAND-GRANT UNIVERSITY and A CONSTITUENT INSTITUTION ofTHE UNNERSITY of NORTH CAROLINA

Dear Aggie Family and Friends:

Welcome home to Aggieland for yet another year of amazing celebrations at the Greatest Homecoming on Earth. We look forward to this time each year as an opportunity to reflect on our experiences, reconnect with our classmates and show support to our alma mater.

North Carolina A&T was established 130 years ago as a modest land-grant college. Today, we are a premier land-grant, doctoral higher-research activity institution where high-achieving scholars engage in transformative teaching and learning, civic outreach, interdisciplinary research and finding innovative solutions to global challenges. With more than 60,000 alumni around the globe and counting, North Carolina A&T's impact grows every year.

We continue to build upon our leadership as the largest historically Black college or university (HBCU) in the nation with an enrollment this fall of 13,322 students. We are proud to know that our present students will one day join the ranks of illustrious alumni who make everyday contributions to the communities where we live, work and serve.

As we move relentlessly toward the ambitious goals expressed in our strategic plan -A&T Preeminence: Taking the Momentum to 2023 - we are becoming ever more competitive as a comprehensive, land-grant, doctoral higher research university, as illustrated by outstanding outcomes and a growing profusion of national rankings. We've now been among the three most active research campuses in the University ofNorth Carolina (UNC) System for more than a decade. We rank No. 1 among all HBCUs in Money magazine and Washington Monthly, and among America's top 50 national universities for innovation and social mobility in U.S. News &

World Report. Perhaps most importantly to our alumni, our graduates earn more in their early careers than those of all but two other institutions in the UNC system early in their careers.

These are remarkably exciting times at N.C. A&T. We have experienced many reasons to be proud of our university this year. We recognize that our growth is in part attributed to the generosity that manyof our alumni and friends have shown in support of the university. We thank you for your contributions to our success and honor your commitment to our institution.

There is still much work to be done.

As you absorb the energy ofHomecoming, we encourage you to take time to consider how you can invest in the progressive development of our alma mater. We need your time, talents and resources to continue the impactful work of the institution in East Greensboro, North Carolina, and the world beyond. We invite you to volunteer, engage and donate - because that's what Aggies DO!

With Aggie Pride,

~~~
Chancellor
Dear Alumni and Friends,
Welcome home for the 95
Homecoming at North Carolina A&T State University is an experience unlike any other. It is
a time to reconnect with old friends, classmates and reminisce about the days you roamed
the campus as a student. As you wrap yourselves with that good ol' Aggie spirit prepare
yourselves for the many exciting activities that will inform, connect and entertain you.
During your visit I invite you to experience the transformation -physical and intellectual-of
Re: Homecoming Safety
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to North Carolina A&T State University Homecoming 2021 . This year brings another year of excitement, despite the challenges the world continues to face with the COVID-19 Pandemic. The University will host several events, both on and off campus, during the week. On Saturday, October 30, 2021 our Aggies wi ll take on Monmouth for an exciting football game, to include other events that wi ll bring an estimated crowd of more than 50,000. I want to take this opportunity to list a few expectations, as well as highlight some safety tips for consideration, during your visit to om campus and the surrounding areas.
You Can Expect
I. A significant amount ofroad closures on and around the University.
2. A significant number of patrons and visitors, on foot, frequenting Truist Stadium, core University campus, and adjacent streets surrounding the University.
3. Increase security and police presence, on campus and throughout the area, to facilitate a safe environment for all patrons.
Safety Tips & Measures
• Please always wear your mask.
• Remember to social distance.
• Always keep your identification on your person.
• Walk in groups, and in well-lit areas when moving about at night.
• Do not carry large amounts ofcash on our person; do not flash your money.
• Those who participate in the consumption of alcohol, drink responsibly. The legal age limit for alcohol possession and consumption is 21 .
• Beware of individuals attempting to lure you into playing 3-Card Monty. This is a game of chance designed to separate you from your money. You cannot win!
• There are 44 Emergency Phones, located on campus for your use, should you experience an emergency.
• Download the LiveSafe app for NC A&T State University to assist with your personal safety.
• Dial 911 for emergencies you may experience or contact the University Police Department for assistance at (336) 334-7675.
Go Aggies!
