A service we would like to explain in more detail is our annual Planned Service agreement. Furnaces, air conditioners and geothermal units are motorized equipment, and just like a vehicle, they need to be serviced regularly to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently. As a
Planned Service customer, you will receive two prepaid service tuneups, a one-year warranty on any replacement parts, a discounted rate on
emergency services and a preferred-customer discount price.

- Addresses outside of Story County or Boone County will incur an additional fee of $40.

Planned Service Agreements are due by 10/15/2021. Please complete the Planned Service Agreement and submit payment in full to 1503 Florida Ave., Ames, IA 50014. Once received, services can be scheduled.

Dear valued Planned Service customer,
With the season of change upon us, we at Ames Heating and Cooling would like to extend a special promotion on
Honeywell whole house bypass humidifiers. This offer will be running until the first week of December.
Adding a humidifier to your home can make it feel 3-4 degrees warmer by adding moisture to the air during the
winter time. Chapped lips, static shock, dry nose, dehydrated skin, discomfort from common colds are a few items that a whole home bypass humidifier can remedy.
The humidifier has a pad where the water mists over, and distributes moisture into your home through the sheet metal ductwork. The pad will need to be changed on an annual basis. This can be taken care of when our tech is out to perform the maintenance on the furnace in the fall.
The Honeywell HE105 humidifier is regularly $600.00 installed. If you order before 12/1/2018 you can get the installation for $550.00.
