Our Cradle to Cradle® approach ensures we design our products to contribute positively to the environment and to people’s well-being at each step of the product’s life. We’re committed to a circular economy where resources are continually reused and recycled-creating products today that become the raw materials of tomorrow.

Contributing to better indoor air quality, we also continue to eco-design all our flooring products so that they have low or extremely low VOC emissions – from 10 to 100 times below the most stringent European regulations.

One of Tarkett’s main concern is, and has always been, to make its clients benefit from products manufactured with sustainable materials taking care of the environment and human health without however compromising performance and design experience.

OUR RESTART® PROGRAMME

Tarkett is also engaged in recycling since 1957 and runs its own programme called ReStart® in Europe and North America. ReStart® has been developed to collect and recycle clean leftover material from either post-installation resilient flooring or post-consumer carpets. It is then collected through partnerships with collection networks, before being processed in one of our eight internal recycling centers.
