These are our campus’s school wide systems followed throughout our building to help create consistency from one student’s classroom to another. The majority of our systems are aligned with those at Conroe High School to help prepare our students to easily transition into high school.

“Dress Code Highlights”
These are NOT all of the rules. Please see the Student Handbook for more information.
▪ Shirts/tops NOT allowed: muscle shirts, tank
tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, low cut tops, backless, see-through, off the shoulder, and
midriff. When you raise your hand your shirt/top must cover waistband.
▪ sagging pants or jeans with holes 2” above the
knee are not allowed.
▪ dresses/skirts and shorts must fall at least 2”
above the top of knee or longer.
▪ Shirt/tops worn with leggings must completely
cover the back side.
▪ Clothing and accessories may NOT display any
prohibited substance, weapon, violence, vulgar and obscene language or image, gangs, cults, and/or insults to race, religion, gender or ethnicity.
▪ hats or hoodies are not permitted. These items
will be confiscated and parents will be called. Any exception due to medical recommendation must be approved my administration.

Expectations”
▪ Students will follow all school rules. ▪ Breakfast will be eaten in the cafeteria
unless planned and authorized by a teacher.
Students will throw their trash away
▪ Students will eat breakfast and then go
directly to their Homeroom.
▪ Tutorials must be proactively planned with
the teacher of record . Students must have a pass for morning tutorials to be released from their homeroom class.
▪ Students will NOT roam hallways at any time during the school day.

“Hallway Expectations”
▪ Between school bells students must be
constantly moving to their next class. Students will be on time to class by
“walking with a purpose” through the hallways.
▪ Students will walk on the “right” side of the hallways to maintain consistent traffic flow.
▪ The Main stairwell is “Up Only”. All other
stairwells are for two way use.
▪ Students should use this time to go to the
restroom and/or get a drink of water. Only personal water bottles are allowed
outside of the cafeteria.
▪ Any student in our halls during class time
should be carrying one of three different types of passes. Students sent to the nurse should be written a “Clinic Pass”. A student sent to the restroom should carry the

“Restroom Procedures”
▪ Only one student at a time is allowed to go
to the restroom from a particular classroom.
▪ No restroom passes will be given the first
or last 10 minutes of the class period.
▪ Students will be given the class’s restroom
pass which is attached to a colored lanyard. Each hallway has a different colored
lanyard to represent that hall. Students should go to the restroom in their
designated hallway.
▪ Student’s cellphone should remain in their
assigned class’s “phone station” while using the restroom. If a student needs to call
their parent all they have to do is ask their teacher.

from the cafeteria.
2. Upon arrival at the cafeteria,
students are to sit at assigned

5. Remain seated during lunch until
returning to the classroom.

Expectations:
1. Bring your Chromebook charged daily 2. Be on task

FAQ:
Can I decorate my Chromebook? No. Stickers AND personalization are not permitted.
Can I get my Chromebook repaired somewhere else? No. Only Conroe ISD can service a Conroe ISD Chromebook. Can I clean my screen with 409 or Windex? No. Only a soft cloth should be used on the screen. If necessary, stop by the repair center and they will assist you in cleaning it. Can I access the internet at home? Yes. Chromebooks can join existing wireless networks.
How am I going to get my classwork? Through Canvas I don’t have internet at home, will I be able to use my Chromebook? Yes. You’ll be able to use it to work on schoolwork offline and when you return on campus you can upload any documents as necessary.
What if I lose my charger? You’ll need to purchase a replacement charger.
