thThe Sixth District Court of Appeals will be on campus hearing oral arguments in the Panelli Moot Court Room in Bergin Hall on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Students are invited to attend case hearings. This will be a great time to learn how the court functions and to ask questions of the Justices. You’ll want to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see lawyers in action.
Students entering and leaving the courtroom will be asked to do so quickly and in a quiet manner. For security purposes, Court Officers will scan all
individuals entering the courtroom. Books, backpacks, newspapers, phones, radios, pagers/beepers, cameras, etc. will not be permitted in the court room while court is in session.

2006-2007 SCU Law Scholarship Application
The 2006-2007 application to renew your Law Faculty, Emery or Public Interest Scholarship is now available.
Current scholarship holders must reapply.
Scholarships will not be considered for renewal if a completed application is not received by the
deadline date. Please return your completed
application to the Law Financial Aid Office in Heafey 240 by MAY 20, 2006. Applications turned in after this
date will not be accepted.
Law Faculty scholarships will be renewed if you continue to demonstrate financial need and satisfactory
academic progress. Eligibility and the amount will be reviewed annually.
Emery Scholarships are not automatically renewed. Emery scholarships may be renewed if the academic conditions in the original award letter are met and
funds are available.
Students who do not currently have a scholarship may apply; however, new awards are limited by the availability of funds. Please contact Richard Alfaro, Director of Law Financial Aid, at ralfaro@scu.edu or
