The Bible Society was already using SharePoint 2010 for document

management and had tried a number of options to perform Project Management. The Computerworld project team

demonstrated Project Server 2010 and NINTEX workflow tools to the Society in

An InfoPath form was also developed to enable the streamlined collection of project related information and notes, and this form then became the

definitive specification for the project and contained all the approval steps and requirements.

Delivery and implementation

The delivery of this project required a close

collaboration between Computerworld and the Bible Society, and we followed Computerworld’s standard processes and procedures, including:

• On-site initial planning workshops

• Product installation

• Product configuration based on the outcome of the planning workshops

The installed system streamlined a number of individual documents and plans into a single process with full web based visibility to all the required areas of the business. NINTEX

workflows provided automated email

notification to individuals when they were required to perform specific steps/tasks in projects.

• Working output maintained – despite the interface change Computerworld was able to help staff to quickly transfer existing skills and learn to implement new ones

• Increased levels of productivity – staff were quickly able to implement the new skills straight into daily working practice. Along with continued floorwalking, productivity levels were boosted
