HM2016 Detailed Chronological Schedule with Interwoven Production Deadlines

Aug. All Tech Sections meet at SOM meeting to review and discuss revisions to standards for the next edition. Sept. 8 Group 1 SOM and Tech Section ballot items, including attachment files, submitted to Secretary. Sept. 15 All Tech Section minutes submitted for upload to the SOM website.

Group 1 SOM, concurrent, and reconfirmation ballots open.

Group 1 Tech Chairs provide new-standard files to AASHTO Pubs for formatting and initial editorial pass. Oct. 8 Group 2 SOM and Tech Section ballot items, including attachment files, submitted to Secretary.

Oct. 15 Group 1 SOM, concurrent, and reconfirmation ballots close. Group 2 SOM, concurrent, and reconfirmation ballots open.

Group 2 Tech Chairs provide new-standard files to AASHTO Pubs for formatting and initial editorial pass. Nov.

April 12 Group 3 editorial phase done and sections submitted to Tech Chairs for review. Apr. 13 Group 1 web production complete. HM2016 Group 1 goes live.

Apr. 20 Group 2 final files with changes accepted uploaded to library. Group 2 Tech Section ballot prep for HM2017 begins.

May 3 Group 3 tech review done and query responses returned to AASHTO. May 17 Group 3 tech review edits made and layout finished.
