Frequent Ask and Questions (FAQ)

Preparing the game

1. My game ain’t saving right, shows up a “1m subcircuit is not installed, please exchange backup memory” issue. A: Flash 128k, Automatic Save, Donwload latest Myboy/VBA/whatever emulator you’re using and game, and put your gba file into Downloads files. Restart.

2. I can’t continue after Elite Four. A: Same as before.

3. I can’t continue my game save after an update.

A: Save first into a safe place (PokéMart at Cherrygrove, for instance) and save into a slot with your old update, save exactly when you save your game internally (when it puts “wanna overwrite?”). Then load that slot into the new game, save internally, reset and you may continue without issues.

4. There’s some items that I can’t get.

A. You’re playing with an old save game? Then you maybe can’t get some new stuffs. Inside the game

1. Beginning my game, after I lose I start at Violet City and I can’t return.

A. Restart, you shoudn’t lose until you solve Mr. Pokemon Egg quest and get into Violet. 2. The guy from Violet ain’t trading an Onix, instead, is a Sewaddle.

A. This is a new hack, a new game, so, do not ask for old stuff or change those kinds of things. 3. The TM ain’t right, at gen 2 there’s no TM01 Superpower, it is Dynamic Punch (or any other). A. Same as before.

4. Appears to be a wild Legendary Dog.

A. Talk to it and let it go. If appears again and get away, it’s ok, you just need to find it one more time. 5. After doing a Ruis of Alph puzzle nothing happened.

A. Talk to side wall. Be careful inside, buecause there’s an insidious issue making your game wrong, so I suggest you to get out as soon as possible the very first time, then I’ll be normal.

6. I can’t get away from sudowoodo.

A. Get Squirtlebottle from Flower Shop Girl at Goldenrod after won Whitney. 7. National contest ain’t showing up.

A. Set your game into another time and day and try again, or walk a lot and wait. 8. Legendary Dogs aren’t going anywhere.

A. Download latest version. 9. I can’t use SURF after 4th badge.

A. It’s because in order to use SURF you need to face Chuck 5th badge first. Try to go trough a new cave Left Olivine, using

Strenght to move some rocks over there. 10. Some Flying map ain’t showing up.

A. Download latest version. Try to go again to that city and get into Pokemon Center. Try again. 11. I can’t get into Mahogany’s Rocket Warehouse. Something is wrong.

A: Try to not lose or get out from that until you get TM Whirlpool from Lance. 12. I don’t know how to mega evolve. My Pokémon aren’t mega evolving.

A: Make sure your Pokémon may mega evolve. Get Mega Stone from Fuji at Violet, and Mega Stone X from Roxanne at Dim Deep Cave. Get Mega Brazalet from Elm’s assistanshipt right trough Mahogany Town, the one who makes some “?” when it sees you. To activate Mega evolution, let hold Mega Stone or Mega Stone X to a Pokémon, and in-battle press Fight and a ball will show up in your exp box. Press START and select any move. Mega Stone X is meant to be hold by Charizard and Mewtwo.

13. I can’t continue with Clair at Blackthorn. Gym is closed.

A: Go to Goldenrod Radio Tower and fix Rocket’s trouble. Get both keys to free doors. 14. I can’t pass trough stones at Blackthorn Gym.

A: Try again.

15. Clair didn’t give me any badge.

(7)

POKEMON SHINY GOLD SIGMA WALKTHROUGH

16. I don’t know how to get X HM.

A: Flash from Elder at Violet, Cut from Cutter at Azalea, Rock Smash by fatty next to Sudowoodo, Strenght by a Sailor at Olivine, Surf by Kimono Gentleman at Ecruteak, Fly by Chuck’s wife at Cianwood, Whirpool by Lance at Mahogany, Waterfall Inside Icefall Cave, Dive by Misty at Cerulean, Headbutt at Ilex Forest, Sweet Scent by girl at Ilex Forest outside, Dig at National Park.

17. I can’t get on board on SS Aqua Ship. A: Talk to Elm.

18. Kurt ain’t talking to me.

A: Two options. First, set your game into another time and day and try again, or walk a lot and wait. Second, Talk in Saffron to a Telephone cabine.

19. I can’t continue after won Sabrina.

A: Go to Silph Co. and face Rockets in there. CAREFUL: It could be an issue with elevator, try to not enter from front face, but by a side to get into a up floor.

20. I can’t get out from Safari, I haven’t any Pokémon, Rocket’s stole from me.

A: Careful, need to try again that script later. Do not use cut while you don’t have any Pokémon, Koga should help you, if not, do something else and try again later.

21. There’re some invisible things.

A: Those are legendary Pokémon. To get them all, first need to catch some before to get some others (I.E.: Catch Nihilego first at Submarine Lymph in the middle-left side to awake some others Ultra Beasts).

22. Where is Kyogre and Groudon.

A: Both are hidden. First one at Submarine Lymph at Bycicle Road using Dive, down hidden. Groudon is hidden at Dim Deep Cave at Blackthorn deep in there, touching a wall. Rayquaza is at Sky Tower.

23. I can’t capture Snorlax.

A: Get an Expn Card at Radio Tower and a PokéFlute. 24. I can’t find Machine part at Misty’s gym.

A: Try to do something else and try again later, it’s suppose to be on the pool hidden, look for it in the walktrough. 25. There are some places with doors and stones and I can’t pass.

A: Face Red/Ash at Mt. Silver to open some places. Some others will be opened while you complete missions. 26. How to catch Celebi?

A: Talk to a telephone at Saffron and get GS Ball. Wait for Kurt. 27. I can’t get into Viridian Gym.

A: Need to face first Blaine’s gym at Seafoam Islands. 28. I can’t catch Articuno.

A: Some stones aren’t working properly, but there’s a new whole to ge when Officer Jenny is out of there, get into the final whole and you will see Articuno.

29. I can’t get into Mansion at Cinnabar. A: It’s burnt to the grounds, don’t you see? 30. I can’t get into a new Orange Island. A: See walktrough guide. There’s an order.

31. I can’t fly at Cherrygrove or any Orange Island.

A: Those are islands, not important and there’s not any other fly position I can use for them. Cherrygrove ain’t that important and the others I put some Sailors to get fast into Vermillion.

32. How to face Drake at Pummelo? A: Beat every Orange Leader First.

33. After I beat 3 champions wht else I can do? A: Complete pokédex, Battle Frontier.

34. There’s no enough amount of space at bag or box to put my items and Pokémon.

A: This game was meant to have 386 pokémon, and I put over 850, so use spaces carefully, seel items aren’t needed or give it to some Pokémon to hold them. Manage yourself.

Main Keys and features

Important information:

1) Preview: At Johto, Kanto and Orange Islands, remember to follow the order of

battles like Pokémon Crystal. Therefore, I strongly recommend to play first Gold,

Silver, or Crystal. It's important to play in order and not jump steps to avoid getting

lost or spoil and talk to all the people who are in the game and always save your

game if anything happens.

2) Ideal order to play: 1) SAGA JOHTO, 2) ELITE FOUR, 3) SAGA KANTO, 4) JOHTO

REMACTH 5) ORANGE ISLANDS, 6) KANTO REMATCH, 7) EX LEADERS REMATCH, 8)

ELITE FOUR REMATCH, 9) CHAMPIONS FROM KANTO, JOHTO & ORANGE ISLANDS.

(9)

3) The best advice to follow in order Kanto: is to see the image below where a "snail"

is formed. That is the right to face the leaders of Kanto. Notice 7 is before than 8.

Remember to

SAVE

always your game!

YOU’LL NEVER LOSE

Pokémon evolution system & levels

Friendship: If a Pokémon is caught in a Luxury Ball or is holding a Soothe Bell, all

raising events will increase the Pokémon's friendship value by an extra point;

friendship-lowering events are not affected. These effects stack on each other, meaning a Pokémon in

a Luxury Ball holding a Soothe Bell increases the value by two points.

Pokémon now have a base friendship per species, although most catchable Pokémon have

the standard value of 70 as their starting level.

In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the player can verify the friendship value of

his/her Pokémon through the scene which appears after the player uses an item on the

Pokémon. The Pokémon will either move towards the screen or not move at all. If the

Pokémon does not move, then its friendship value is standard. The friendship value of the

Pokémon can be checked by looking at how near the Pokémon goes to the player. The

nearer the Pokémon moves towards the screen, the higher its friendship value and the more

it is attached to its Trainer. After grooming a Pokémon, Daisy will also tell the player how

friendly the Pokémon in the first slot of their party is towards them.
