www.otsdk6.org and entering the requested information. Once completed you will be contacted by the school registration office to schedule an appointment for the next step in the registration process. You will need to bring the following documents to this

appointment:

PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING: Original Birth Certificate (child must be at least 3 years old on or before 10/1/21)

Immunization Record

2 Proofs of Residency (One proof must be proof of ownership i.e. tax bill, mortgage statement, homeowner insurance or a rental agreement. Second proof may be a utility bill.)

Custody papers if applicable

Please note: adult registering the child must be parent or legal guardian

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS WEEK

Ocean Township School District will observe Random Acts of Kindness Week, February 16th-19th. This year,

we will focus on the theme, Kindness is Our Super Power. During this week, students will be asked to reflect on how acts of kindness has the power to spread to many others. Within this week, students will be invited to write thank you notes to express their gratitude for all the generous school staff and members in the

community that have helped Waretown throughout this time. Students are asked to participate in the following theme days to promote a climate of kindness in our school and community.

During the COVID-19

pandemic, emotional

resilience is vital.

RWJBarnabas Health Institute for Prevention and Recovery’s Hope and Healing Program offers emotional support services, education and community-based resources for individuals and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through a variety of virtual services, this program aims to assist those impacted by the pandemic to better adjust to their new reality, mitigate stress, review options, develop coping strategies, and, if needed, find linkages to agencies, programs, and other resources in their community.

Services will be provided in Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset and Union counties.
