NSU MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Nova Southeastern University,
a private
,
not-for
-
profit institution,
is to offer a diverse
array
of innovative academic programs that complement on-campus educationa
l
opportunities and
resources
with accessible,
distance-learning programs to
foster
academic excel
lence,
intellectual
inquiry,
l
eadership
,
research
,
and commitment to community through engagement of students
and
faculty
members in
a dynamic
,
lifelong
l
earning environment.
Letter from the
HPD Chancellor
OVER THE PAST two decades,
NSU's
Health Professions Divi
sion
has
evolved
into
a dynamic and innovative,
interprofessional
,
academic
health
center that comprises seven colleges
(t
he
Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine,
Pharmacy, Optometry,
Medical
Sciences,
Dental Medicine
,
Health Care Sciences,
and Nursing) and
more than 60
degree and certificate program
s
.
Our colleges and
programs
are nat
i
onally and
internationally
recogni
ze
d due to
our esteemed faculty and staff members
,
who are dedicated to
working closely with students,
nurturing
them along as
they progress through the academic experience.
When
s
tudents truly
know their professors
are there for
them
on a daily basis,
it makes
a big difference in
their
educational experience.
Our educational
paradigm
is both academically and technologically
robust. Because of this, we're able to provide our students with
the
knowl
e
dge and skills they will
need to
become
compassionate
and
dedicated health
care professionals.
Our current students
are
fully aware and appreciative of this fact. And as a new student,
you will be as well.
