PERFORMANCE

A skilfully combination of modern water lines and a medium light displacement (in the cruising yachts range), gives to SWS yachts great sailing performances, both in light breeze and strong weather conditions.

COMFORT

Racing on a comfortable racer-cruiser (rather than a pure racer) gives guests the opportunity to benefit of wide deck spaces (maneuvering cockpit is always separated from the guests one) and warm comfortable interiors (on SWS yachts the crew area is always separated and far from guests area).

SERVICE

A dedicated and professional permanent crew is trained to take care of guests in every moment of the race, offering a «five stars» experience.

SAFETY

The permanent crew (with a deep knowledge of the yacht and a wide blue water experience) and a selected professional racing crew (all coming from the most renowned off shore and in shore regattas worldwide), offer the best combination of skills to sustain and «train» guests.

GLAMOUR

Guests can enjoy the full-on glamour, style and exclusivity of regattas ashore events.

SEMI-CUSTOM/CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY

SWS builds semi-custom constructions, the result of an ultimate synergy where cutting edge technology comes together with craftsmanship tradition. The use of technologies and state-of-the-art materials makes them robust and safe, features which are essential for boats started out for blue water sailings.

PERFORMANCE

A devoted research for Light displacement gives owners the opportunity to have fun sailing in light breeze or thrilling racing experience without any compromise in comfort. Yacht hull and deck are made with infused composite sandwich (carbon fibre, Kevlar, epoxy resin and Corecel) and can count on the expertise of renewed naval architect studios such as Farr Yacht Design and Reichel Pugh Yacht design.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Southern Wind is a complete Shipyard able to work on every single element that make the boat. The premises run a total surface of 17.000 m2 including 12,000m2 of protected and covered production sheds. The staff is composed by 270 people, most of them are local, with a strong European influence in management.

COMFORT AND FUNCTIONAL LUXURY

IN ITALIAN DESIGN

Space maximization, simplicity in the yacht construction, an understated luxury and style, makes the life on board a 5 stars experience and the result from careful thought on the various forms and needs of life onboard. Long term collaborations with the famous Italian designers;Nauta Yacht design, assure that Southern Wind yachts have elegance and a simple, yet unmistakable style that is uniquely Italian.

BLUE WATER CAPABILITY-RELIABILITY

All Southern Wind yachts are built for long range, blue water cruising. These yachts embody the essence of seaworthiness, reliability and durability giving the opportunity to live thrilling exploration and relaxing cruising in remote locations where very few other yachts can venture.
