T

he David Posnack JCC’s Singer Early

Childhood Learning Center provides a unique combination of emotional, social, physical and intellectual development for the young child. A warm, lov-ing atmosphere is felt throughout the school, while our security system puts parents’ minds at ease. Trained profes-sionals provide an excellent secular program with a rich Judaic component.

• As the young child’s world expands, a positive preschool experi-ence becomes a special time: a time to look, a time to grow, a time to feel, to touch, to learn and a time to love. Sharing and making friends are also an important part of a child’s growth process. The entire Singer Early Childhood Learning Center program is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child. Close communication between teacher and parents allows the child to feel a secure balance between home and school.

• The Judaic components of the Singer Early Childhood Learning Center program play a significant role in the young child’s development. Byintegrating Judaic experiencesinto the child’s life, a complete, wholesome self-concept, and a sense of identification with the family, the Jewish community, the American people and the world at large is developed. • An Ethical Journey into Jewish Learning

The Ethical Start® program is a groundbreaking way of enrich-ing the educational experience of our

children by engaging them, along with parents and teachers, in learning Jewish values based on the classical text, Pirkei Avot, the Ethics of our Fathers. Our staff has been trained to study Pirkei Avot and to integrate the basic concepts into our daily curricu-lum. Creative materials, including books, music and Peer K Explorer,® a

loveable fictional character, bring the Ethical Start® experience alive in the classroom. An Ethical Start® was produced and developed by the JCC Association and funded by generous grants from Steven Spielberg’s Righteous Persons Foundation. The program is funded locally by the Brizel/Rothstein

Charitable Fund, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Sopshin & family, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Randell, the Brad Neidorf & Family Memorial,

and in memory of Mike “Poppy” and Grandma Bea Allen. • ★★★★The Singer Early Childhood Learning Center has

successfully completed Broward County’s Quality Rating System program, which is administered through the Broward County Children’s Services Administration. Our school received a 4-Starquality rating, which is the highest rating possible for a childcare program in Broward County.

“As parents, you are always concerned with where you are going to send your children. We are extremely pleased with the program at the JCC. Our 6 month old is in the infant care program and our 3 year old attends the preschool. Both of our daughters are always happy and well taken care of. When we pick up our baby, she is always clean and smiling. The teachers show a great deal of affection, are personable, friendly, and go above and beyond all expectations. It amazes us how much our 3 year old is learning and how far she’s progressed. The JCC is sim-ply the best.”

Dara & Warren Frankl

“The lessons that Nathan has learned here will last him a lifetime. He could not have gotten to this point without the car-ing and patience of his amazcar-ing teachers.”
