Head of Microfinance

Job responsibilities will include:

• Conduct a feasibility study of an MFIs transition to a Commercial Banks

• Analyze institution's policies and strategies, financial statements, key activities, organizational structure, and internal control system

• Prepare financial projections and models

• Suggest risk management and reduction strategies

• Provide recommendations based on national best practices • Prepare a feasibility report on the study

• Assist with any other tasks such as developing relevant governance policies and procedures, marketing and business plan, reviewing and improving financial, controlling and risk management tools, and reporting procedures

• Sustainability of Operations & Operational Self Sufficiency (OSS) • Commitment for socio-economic Development

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the financial sector

• Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the financial sector (banking and MFIs)

• Experience in managing and administering operations of financial institutions at an executive level is an asset

• Demonstrated ability in long-term strategic planning and business plan development • Extensive experience in setting up corporate governance structures for financial institutions • Experience in developing and installing credit operation, risk management policies and procedures • Practical knowledge in developing and implementing marketing plans, tools and HR strategies • Strong report writing skills, preferably having written studies and publications

• Proficiency in English language.

Senior Credit & Risk Adviser

Job responsibilities:

• Initiating and developing new approaches for MSE Finance; • Introducing efficient lending procedures;

• Coaching managers involved in MSE Lending;

• Training staff, including front and back office staff, and middle management; • Credit portfolio and risk analysis, and recommending corrective actions; • Expanding MSME operations to new branches and regions;

• Conducting Credit Committees;

• Negotiation with middle and senior management on branch and head office levels. • Organizational capacity and managerial competence;

• Commitment for socio-economic Development; Requirements:

• At least three years practical experience in a commercial bank preferably MSME or MSE Finance; • Good communication, presentation, analytical, and reporting skills;

• Experience in training loan officers preferable; • Proficiency in English language.

• Strong analytical skills and good interpersonal skills;

Financial Analyst

Job responsibilities:

• Collect and research for data and information on selected banks/MicroFinancial institution • Perform financial analysis and due diligence of commercial banks

• Write credit reports on analyzed financial institutions

• Measure corporate risks and develop corporate risk management policies • Prepare or assess financial projections, models, and business plans • Prepare credit assessment reports

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in finance, banking, preferably MBA, CFA or comparable degree • At least five years experience in conducting corporate financial analysis

• Experience in conducting due diligence studies preferable • Solid understanding of corporate finance and investment banking • Knowledge of the Indian Micro financial/banking market will be an asset • Proficiency in English language.

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and reporting skills • Ability to work in an national environment and flexibility to travel

• Ability to deliver excellent results both working independently and as part of a team

Cluster Head of Microfinance

Job responsibilities will include:

countries;

• Perform appropriate statistical analysis of large data sets; • Develop questionnaires within research assignments;

• Write professional reports and conclusions based on research findings; • Present research findings during seminars and conferences;

• Actively participate in further development of NHRDI’s research activities;

Participate in training of junior researchers

.

Requirements:

University degree, preferably in economics, finance, sociology or related field;

Experience working with qualitative and quantitative research methods;

Excellent analytical, reporting and presentation skills;

Proficiency in English & Regional language.

Previous work experience in NIS State is an advantage;

Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software is an asset;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;

Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure;

Willingness to travel in the NIS Region.

Job responsibilities:

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• At least three years experience in database programming and management

• Experience building web applications using PHP, Python, MySQL, HTML/CSS

• Experience in MS Office/VBA programming, data processing using Excel • Strong analytical skills

• Experience in Programming for banks/financial institutions using Java/.NET/Delphi is an advantage

Job responsibilities:

• Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports

• Establish and maintain accounting practices to ensure accurate processes.
