 Liaise and coordinate with other discipline with the procedure that cover the preservation

instruction for storage at the site and describes the requirements of storage items may be exposed out-door condition at the site for the static and rotating equipment’s

 Ensure effective implementation of preservation activities on equipment and system

within the project. Ensure correct installation of tag names by technicians and application of SAP number on spare parts.

 Ensure compliance with storage, preservation and protection requirements of all static

and rotating equipment’s, spares, instruments etc. at site including warehouse.

 Review of vendor specific preservation procedures and requirements of static and rotating

equipment and ensure implementation. Ensure that all Supplier recommendations and requirements are incorporated into preservation procedures and project program.

 Participate and lead risk assessments and toolbox talks. Ensure that HSE procedures are

properly implemented while executing preservation tasks.

 Ensure tag names are installed as per PEFS (P&ID) and SAP number is correctly installed

at all spare parts and that they are arrange as required.

 Follow-up Engineers activities related to rotating machinery and ensure compliance with

company/project specification and with the requirements of the project documentation.

 Review the preservation records and inspect equipment to ensure that preservation

maintenance is performed to the approved standards during construction and commissioning phases.

 Review/prepare preservation maintenance checklist to be applied during commissioning

phase and ensure preservation/maintenance routines are performed during commissioning phase.
