Testimonials
transition Management
A US based pharmaceutical company wanted to shift the responsibility for day-to-day operations and infrastructure support from Purdue to HCL ISD. This would enable Purdue resources previously responsible for such activities to be reallocated to more strategic roles within IT. We took a phased approach to transition services from Purdue and provided HCL ISD employees to help resolve day-to-day as well as long-term issues. results: The transition went
smoothly with virtually no impact on the business, was completed on time and well within the planned budget. Purdue’s internal resources focused on architecting solutions, generating technology innovation and supporting business projects, while our team effectively monitored and provided the infrastructure support.
Cost optimization through Cloud
A leading hi-tech manufacturing company approached us to help migrate its messaging data and mailboxes to a new environment while creating a secure cloud messaging service. A cloud-based, two-factor authentication system was deployed, and the move to Google Messaging was the first step in an extensive cloud strategy. Subsequently the company deployed the entire cloud-based Enterprise Google Apps suite, and then moved its human resources system and audio/Web conferencing to the cloud. In 2011, it moved all of its end-user document storage into the cloud. results: The company’s use of Cloud-based
services resulted in $1.6 million in annualized savings and a significant improvement in collaboration among employees distributed across the globe. Our cloud strategy helped this customer meet its organizational goal of having a lean and agile IT organization.
Business transformation
A Fortune 500 Company was looking for a reliable outsourcing partner to consolidate its entire internal client services - including IT, HR, accounting and professional support into a single operation. The company wanted its internal IT organization to focus on strategic and core IT. We delivered end-to-end IT infrastructure services, and undertook several transformational projects for backup tape optimization, application consolidation, database optimization, server virtualization and more. HCL well-executed a major area of concern for the customer i.e. data center consolidation. results: Our automated tools
helped this client improve its IT services and reduce costs. Helpdesk consolidation across geographies decreased support costs and reduced ticket resolution by 30%. Focus on SLAs, process standardization across the globe and resource optimization with zero impact to the business improved CSAT scores. The successful completion of Six Sigma projects saved our client $50K to $100K annually per project.
