Juergen Boenisch, Ph.D., Dipl.-Eng, CMC, CSCM

Juergen is a Lean Sensei and Senior Trainer for eZsigma Group. He has over 20 years of experience working with more than 100 international companies in Europe and North America in the manufacturing and service sector. Clients include Canadian Tire, Direct Energy, Bank of Montreal (BMO), ALCOA, Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting, Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), the United Nation (UN) plus many small and medium sized enterprises. Juergen holds a Ph.D. in Physics from King’s College in London, UK, two Engineering degrees and is a Certified Supply Chain Manager.

Mark Thomas, P.Eng MBA PMP

Mark is Program Director and facilitator for The Schulich Centre

of Excellence in Supply Chain and Logistics Management and

an instructor of Operations Management in the Schulich MBA program. He is a professional Industrial Engineer and Project Manager, and holds an MBA. Mark is also Managing Principal of META Management Consulting, working with organizational leaders and then key managers to reduce cost and achieve lean operations efficiency.

Alan Saipe, M.A.Sc, Ph.D.

Alan Saipe has been involved with supply chain and logistics management for most of his working career – as a consultant, an educator and a line manager. As director of operations at Connaught Laboratories Limited he rightsized the company’s insulin inventory. As an educator he has taught logistics and inventory management in MBA, executive MBA and in executive education programs. And as a consultant he has worked with dozens of clients to improve and optimize their distribution inventories. Alan has also had a long affiliation with Supply Chain & Logistics Canada. He is a past chairman of the Association, having been on its National Board of Directors for nine years.
