We begin with an overnight flight across the pond to Scotland.

Day 2: Glasgow

This morning we enjoy a city tour featuring the highlights of Scotland’s largest and most colorful community. Later we get to know our fellow traveling companions for a Holiday Vacations Welcome Dinner.

Day 3: Inveraray Castle & Loch Lomond

Today we leave the bustle of Glasgow for the scenic splendor of Inveraray. We tour Inveraray Castle this morning. This seat of the Campbell Clan is a sprawling fortress that overlooks Loch Fyne and nestled among majestic gardens. After lunch at The George Hotel, we cruise the country’s most scenic waterway, Loch Lomond.

Panoramic views of the Southern Highlands lay out before us as we glide along this impressive loch.

Day 4: Edinburgh & The Royal Yacht Brittania Experience Edinburgh on a guided tour featuring the history of Georgian New Town, medieval Old Town, and The Royal Yacht Britannia, the vacation home of Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family for more than 40 years. The Brittania has sailed over 1,000,000 miles around the world! Later we discover iconic Edinburgh Castle. Towering above the city atop an extinct volcano, we tour this historic fortress, one of the most important military strongholds in all of Scottish history.

Day 5: Ferry to Belfast

We bid goodbye to Scotland today and board an impressive Superferry for a pleasant trip to Northern Ireland. The Cairnryan Superferry offers unmatched beauty as we cross the Irish Sea to Belfast. Upon arrival, we check in to our centrally-located hotel and have the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the city and uncover its many treasures.

Travel with host Tom Atkins

JET 24/FOX 66 Chief Meteorologist Tom Atkins brings you area weather weeknights at 5, 5:30, 6, 10 and 11 p.m. A graduate of Iowa State University, Tom began his broadcasting career in Des Moines, Iowa. He joined the Action News 24 Team in 1995.

Tom wanted to be a TV weatherman from the time his parents bought him a weather station science kit for his sixth birthday. He began his first weath- er job in high school at age 16 and in the 1980s was a tornado chaser.

Tom moved to Erie in the late 1980s to live in an area that received a lot of snow. He and his wife, Jan, along with the “Snow Dog” Junebug, keep a close eye on area weather. He also teaches mete- orology at the local Penn State University campus, the Behrend College. Tom has previously hosted several Holiday Vacations tours.

we explore Titanic Belfast, a museum commemorating the birthplace of the world’s most famous ship. Built to resemble the doomed vessel, the museum extends over nine interactive galleries and is frequently rated as one of the top museums in the world.

Day 7: Giant’s Causeway

We receive our first glimpse of Northern Ireland’s majestic coast this morning and discover the beauty of Giant’s Causeway. This UNESCO World Heritage Site and unique geological wonder offers unmatched landscapes and surreal views. This afternoon, we arrive in the walled- city of Derry and tour its iconic Guild Hall, discovering history on a walking tour of its city walls. We overnight in Letterkenny, a bonny market town in the north of Ireland and rated the country’s “tidiest town” in 2015.

Day 8: Glenveagh Castle & Donegal

We continue to Glenveagh National Park to tour the picturesque castle where Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable have vacationed.

Day 9: Belleek Pottery

Belleek Pottery is our first destination today. We begin in the visitor’s center and then enjoy a guided tour of the world-renowned pottery. Lunch will be in Enniskillen before visiting Kells, one of the most important Monastic sites in Ireland and home to the Market Celtic Cross.

Tonight we enjoy dinner in the Dublin area.

Discover Dublin this morning on a guided tour. View Dublin Castle, the Spire of Dublin, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Guinness Factory, the Ha’penny Bridge, and visit the National Museum of Ireland. Our Holiday Vacations Farewell Lunch today is at the Merchant’s Arch. Between courses storytellers and musicians will provide insights of Irish life in times past.

Later there is time to stroll colorful Grafton Street.

Glenveagh Castle & National Park

This enchanting 19th-century castle is located in heart of the Derryveagh Mountains in the countryside of County Donegal surrounded by the famous Glenveagh Gardens. Enjoy the backdrop of rugged mountains, deep glens and pristine lakes. The park is even home to the largest herd of red deer in Ireland. The gardens display a multitude of exotic and delicate plants from Chile, Madeira, and Tasmania.

This historic fortress is one of the most important military strongholds in the country’s history and was once a royal residence, military garrison, and prison. The defences have evolved over hundreds of years. The Castle is home to Mons Meg, one of the greatest medieval cannons ever made. The Half Moon Battery, built in the aftermath of the Lang Siege of 1573, was armed by bronze guns known as the Seven Sisters. The ancient Honours of Scotland including the crown, scepter, and sword of state are on view in the Crown Room.

Guaranteed Prices - Holiday Vacations’ published tour prices are based on the rates known at the time of publication and are expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Once we have received your deposit, your price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increase is at our expense.

Reservations - Make reservations well in advance.

Space requested by phone will be held for five business days pending receipt of the required deposit by mail, telephone or in person. Reservations made after the indicated final payment due date must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

$200 Deposit Per Person - A deposit must accompany all reservation requests. Personal check, money order, Discover, MasterCard or VISA are acceptable forms of payment.

Final Payment - A balance due date and amount will be indicated on your tour statement. We accept credit cards but appreciate final payments to be made by check or money order.

Refunds - Deposits and all payments are fully refundable prior to the final payment due date.

Holiday Vacations issues refunds via the payment method they were provided. (e.g., payments provided by check will be refunded with a check; payments provided by credit card will be refunded to that credit card.)

COVID-19 Tour Policy - Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a signed Guest Participation Agreement is required to participate in all Holiday Vacations tours. You must provide photocopies of this proof to Holiday Vacations by email to results@holidayvacations.com by final payment date. Proof includes a photocopy of the original vaccination record document issued by either: (a) the health authority that administered the vaccination (i.e. U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card); or (b) the participant’s medical provider that administered the vaccination.

A Guest Participation Agreement will be mailed and must by signed and returned by mail or emailed to gpa@holidayvacations.com by final payment date. Failure to comply could result in denial of tour participation.

Special Requests - Individual requests must be made when booking. Requests for (non) smoking, special dietary needs, adjoining, handicap accessible or other room types are subject to confirmation and cannot be guaranteed.

Hazardous Materials - Federal law forbids the carriage of hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person. A violation can result in five years imprisonment and penalties of

$250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples:

Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen

bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toiletry articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further information contact Holiday Vacations or visit www.faa.gov.

Persons Needing Special Assistance - Holiday Vacations does not provide personal attendant services. Any disability requiring special attention should be reported to us at the time you make your reservation. We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate special needs, but we are not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, and other independent suppliers. Travelers requiring assistance must be accompanied by a companion who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the necessary assistance.

Children On Tour - Children traveling on tour must be at least eight years old and accompanied by an adult.

Reservation Changes - Requests for changes in flight schedules, early or extended hotel stays or for other eligible components of the tour should be made prior to the final payment date.

A non-refundable processing fee of $50 per person will apply for any change requested prior to the final payment date and $100 per person for any change requested on or after the final payment date. These fees are in addition to any costs or penalties from suppliers.

Gratuities - Tips for all the included features of your tour (baggage handling, included meals, etc.) will

be taken care of by your Tour Director. Tips for meals on your own or for other services are at your discretion. Customary tips for the Tour Director

& Driver are on a voluntary basis and given individually. Gratuity guidelines will be provided with your tour documents.

Activity Level - To help evaluate if a tour is right for you, Holiday Vacations has designed a rating system that identifies a tour’s average activity level.

LEISURELY ACTIVITY LEVEL ○●○ ○ ○ Activity levels have five ranks ranging from

“Relaxing” to “Active”. On a tour rated “Relaxing,”

expect to climb some stairs, navigate slight slopes, stand for reasonable periods of time, and walk over relatively level conditions. On a tour rated “Active”, expect a high activity level with challenging conditions, lots of walking, uneven surfaces, and possibly high altitudes.

Holiday Vacations guests must be able to navigate airports with their own luggage. Airport personnel can provide wheelchair assistance upon request.

Guests must also be able to handle their own carry-on bags on airplanes, on and off motorcoaches, and to and from hotel rooms.

Checked luggage will be delivered to and from guests’ hotel rooms on their behalf. If a guest requires mobility assistance, they must be accompanied by an able companion who is totally responsible for providing the guest’s necessary assistance. Holiday Vacations does not provide personal attendant services. All activity level ratings are relative to each guest’s individual levels of fitness and mobility. Holiday Vacations is unable to determine your travel health and fitness level. Please consult your doctor when evaluating your ability to travel.

Insurance - Insurance Holiday Vacations recognizes the value and importance of travel insurance for our guests. We offer an optional Travel Protection Plan, which helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/

Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more. Expect an insurance brochure in the mail with your first statement, or you may request one in advance. If you would like to purchase the insurance, please contact Holiday Vacations.

Processing fees for a voluntary change in airport departure or for other requested changes are not covered by this type of insurance. Please Note:

Insurance must be purchased on or before your final payment due date. For reservations made after August 16, 2021 please review the policy at holiday.trawickinternational.com/ or contact Trawick International at 888-890-9278. The Travel Protection Plan is underwritten by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and its affiliated companies, One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.

Solo Travelers - Holiday Vacations welcomes solo travelers. We will try to assist in arranging a roommate for any person wishing to share accommodations at the double occupancy tour rate. Should a shared arrangement not be available, the single price applies.

Triple & Quad - These accommodations are usually in rooms with two double beds. A rollaway bed or cot is subject to availability on a request basis.

Real ID Domestic Tours - Effective for all domestic flights with a start or finish after May 3, 2023, all passengers 18 years of age and older must carry a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or another federally approved ID such as a Passport, active Military ID or Global Entry card.

Passport Required - (FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL) Your Passport must be valid for 6 months from the end date of your tour. It is Holiday Vacations’ policy that all tours traveling outside of the United States require a valid U.S.

passport in the form of a passport book. Passport cards are not advised for any Holiday Vacations tour traveling outside of the United States.

Travel to Canada - Even with a required Passport, Canada may consider people with certain criminal records as inadmissible. Canada classifies DWI’s,

DUI’s and OWI’s as felonies and considers a person inadmissible if they have one of these in the past 10-15 years on their record. Other offenses such as multiple DUIs, theft or assault can bar entry even if committed decades ago. More information can be found at www.cbsa-asfc. gc.ca or through your lawyer. Holiday Vacations does not accept any responsibility and travel insurance will not cover losses or expenses due to inadmissibility or an individual’s legal status.

Tour Documents - Tour packets will be mailed at least ten days before your tour departure date. This material includes tour pickup location and time, a tour itinerary, hotel list and luggage tag.

Train Routes & Schedules - Please note that train schedules and/or routes are subject to change by railroad passenger services. No liability shall be incurred by Holiday Vacations for subsequent changes to train schedules and/or routes.

Insecticide Use On Aircraft - Some countries require aircraft to be treated with insecticide in order to protect agricultural, environmental and public health. For current information on the use of insecticides on aircraft and the participating countries, please visit the USDOT’s website at https://www. transportation.gov/airconsumer/

spray.

Cruise Line Charges - Additional fees applied by the cruise lines are not included in your tour price. These fees include but are not limited to:

daily service charge for cabin & wait staff, specialty restaurant cover charges and optional shore excursions.

Photography & Video on Tour - Holiday Vacations reserves the right to take photographs and/or videos on any of its tours and to use such records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.

Responsibility - Tours are arranged and operated by Holiday Vacations, LLC. Holiday Vacations, 2727 Henry Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701. Holiday Vacations and their agents act only as an agent for such other parties, firms or corporations providing services herein. No liability shall be incurred by Holiday Vacations, their agents, presenters or co-sponsors because of injury, loss, delay or other complication experienced by tour participants.

Holiday Vacations reserves the right to correct printing errors, to make any changes or alterations in the printed itineraries, dates, routings, hotels or included features prior to or during the tour, necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the tour. The hotels used may change without notice. Holiday Vacations reserves the right to accept, decline or retain any person as a participant of these tours.

Checked Luggage Each guest is allowed one piece of checked luggage which will be handled for you at hotels. The cost of checking luggage Length with the airlines is the responsibility of each guest (charged by and paid directly to the airlines). An

excess fee or handling charge may be collected by the airlines for Carry-On each piece over Width the designated size (length+width+height=62”) and weight (50 lbs).

Carry-On Bags - In addition to your checked luggage, you may bring one carry-on bag and one personal item, such as a camera bag or purse, per person. These items are your responsibility to handle. For your convenience, the carry-on bag is intended to be used for items you need on a daily basis. We recommend using a small day bag, such as a soft-sided backpack, which would fit into the overhead bins of the motorcoach. Bags with wheels are not suitable as a carry-on bag in Europe where the motorcoaches have very limited space. Regulations imposed by the European Union do not allow carry-ons on the motorcoach that do not fit in the overhead bins. Some airlines are now charging fees for carry-on bags.

Additional pieces of luggage will be handled for you at hotels at $6 per bag, per day or at the cost specified for certain tours. Though every effort will be made to safeguard your baggage, Holiday Vacations accepts no liability for loss or damage.
