(All meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn at 441 Electronics Pkwy., Liverpool)

The Registration Night for the 2008 Major/Minor SoftballTravel League will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Holiday Inn from at 4:00 pm. Every Manager/Coach wishing

to enter a team into this Travel League must register on this night. They must submit this form, a team roster and have a check to pay the entrance fee. Checks must be made payable to “District 8 Little League”. Any teams wishing to enter this league after the Registration Night will be placed on a waiting list.

• A Manager or Coach from each Team must be present to register their Team

• A Coach must have the following to register their Team:

1. The Travel League Registration Form 2. A complete Team Roster

3. A check for the Registration Fee made out to “District 8 Little League”

4. Signed “Code of Conduct for Coaches” form for each Coach

• Uniform Order Forms will be handed out

• This is the only night that you can register a Team for the 2008 Major-Minor-TBall–

Code Of Conduct

For District 8 Travel League Coaches/Managers

The Executive Staff of District 8 Little League has mandated the following Code of Conduct for all Managers and Coaches participating in the District 8 Travel League Program. The Coach/Manager will sign this form to acknowledge the he/she understands this Code of Con- duct and agrees to comply with it.

District 8 Code of Conduct:

No Manager or Coach Shall:

• At any time, lay a hand upon, push, shove, strike or threaten an official.

• At any time, be guilty of any verbal abuse, either directly or indirectly, toward any official.

• At any time, be guilty of a demonstration of dissent at an official’s decision by the throwing or kicking of balls, bats, helmets, etc.

• At any time, use profane, obscene or vulgar language in any manner.

• At any time, argue with or direct abusive comments toward an official on a judgment call (meaning balls &

strikes, out or safe and fair or foul).

A Manager or Coach Shall:

• Call time-out, and have the time-out granted, before approaching an official to discuss a call.

• Be responsible for the proper conduct of his players and/or his spectators.

• Be respectful of the officials and the opposing Coaches and Players.

This penalty for violating any part of this Code of Conduct shall result in the immediate ejection from the game. District 8’s definition of an ejection means the offending person must leave the premises.

Any violation could require the Coach/Manager to appear before the Executive Board and could result in expulsion from the program if deemed necessary by the Executive Board.
