! HEATHER LAURA GRAY - Jazz
Heather Laura Gray began her training at L’Ecole Superieur de Dance du Quebec, The Goh Ballet and trained independently in voice, acting and many other dance disciplines. She has performed on stage and screen as an actor, dancer and singer. Her journey has led her to produce, direct and choreograph stage shows as well as perform and choreograph for contemporary dance companies. She is currently dancing for the response. Dance Company (Amber Funk Barton) and Dancers Dancing (Judith Garray). Throughout the
year Heather enjoys adjudicating as well as teaching contemporary master classes across North America. Recently, Heather was a choreographer on the set of the Fox series “The Killing” and the new Canadian feature film “Random Acts of Romance” as well as 10 episodes of Tree House's "Bobs and Lolo". Her work has been shown at the Vancouver International Dance Festival, The Dance Centre (Vancouver), The Vogue Theatre and Soundbites Festival in New York City. Heather is a member of ACTRA, UBCP, The Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists, The Dancer Transition Resource Centre.

LINDSAY STERK - Tap
An accomplished dancer, singer and actor, Lindsay has performed and taught throughout Canada. As an adjudicator he has worked with the N.I.Festival of Performing Arts, Pacific West Festival, Danceworks Victoria, Chilliwack and Kamloops Festival of Performing Arts.
Teaching credits include Harbour Dance Centre, Van Tap Dance Society, Capilano College and several other West Coast studios. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Music (Voice Performance) and Diploma in Theatre Arts. He has studied tap with Brenda Bufalino, Dianne Walker, Heather Cornell, Roxane Butterfly, Lane Alexander, Cindy Kerr, Ray Hesselink, Germaine Salsberg, Jim Hibbard and Lisa Hopkins.
Lindsay’s musical theatre credits include roles with the Arts Club, Showcase Festival, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Gateway Theatre, Vancouver Playhouse, Pangaea Arts, Modern Baroque Opera, Ophidian, Pacific Opera Victoria, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Theatre Calgary, Citadel Theatre, Stage West and the Charlottetown Festival. Most recent performances include “Hero” tapper in the 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies and Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain for Theatre Under the Stars and is a regular soloist for tap events featuring Canadian artists. Choreography credits include Shrek, A Chorus Line, Crazy For You, Legally Blonde, Oliver, and Beauty and the Beast.

Fiona Smith A.R.A.D., R.A.D, TC, NBS, Dip. – Associate Director of the Junior School
A graduate of the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program and the London Studio Centre in London, England, Miss. Fiona has taught ballet in Japan, Toronto and Vancouver. Her formal training began at the Goh Ballet Academy, where she performed and toured throughout B.C., France and China with the Goh Ballet Youth Company. She then toured England with London Studio Centre’s Images of Dance working with choreographers such as Geoffrey Cauley, Michael Corder and Harold King. Returning to Canada, Miss. Fiona continued her education at the National Ballet School and earned her Advanced R.A.D., Advanced Cecchetti and Advanced National Dance examinations. She also received her teaching certificates in both the R.A.D. Teacher’s exam and ISTD National Dance exam. Miss Fiona returned to the Goh Ballet Academy in 2001 and brings her international experience and love of ballet to her current position as the Assistant Director to the Junior School.

CLAIRE FRENCH - Contemporary
Claire French is Vancouver-based, UK-born. She is co-artistic director of the dance and music company Restless Productions (alongside composer James Maxwell). www.restlessproductions.comFrench started dancing at the age of three and has not stopped yet. Since 1994, French has been an independent choreographer, teacher and collaborator working across Europe, the UK, and Canada. Recent projects and roles include Crowd Director/ Choreographer for the Canadian Badlands Passion Play in Alberta, Choreographer and Collaborator for a large-scale interdisciplinary installation performance with Mocean Dance and Sarah Bonnemaison, Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia, a collaboration with animator and visual artist Allison Hrabluik, Choreographer for graduating students of Lincoln University UK and Associate Producer of Dance in Vancouver 2013. French holds an MFA Interdisciplinary Studies from Simon Fraser University (1999) and a BA (Hons) degree in Dance with Inter-Arts from Leeds University College Bretton Hall UK (1994). In Vancouver she has taught dance and composition at Simon Fraser University, Capilano University, CADA/ BC, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, UBC, and many private studios.
French has presented many works for a variety of Vancouver platforms including 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Torch Relay
Celebrations, PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, Global Dance Connections, Dance in Vancouver, Dances for a Small a Stage, and 2013 World Dance Alliance Festival. French is the founder and director of Project CPR (Choreographic Practice and Research) an
annual program for emerging choreographers and dancers.

Heather Laura Gray began her training at L’Ecole Superieur de Dance du Quebec, The Goh Ballet and trained independently in voice, acting and many other dance disciplines. She has performed on stage and screen as an actor, dancer and singer. Her journey has led her to produce, direct and choreograph stage shows as well as perform and choreograph for contemporary dance companies. She is currently dancing for the response. Dance Company (Amber Funk Barton) and Dancers Dancing (Judith Garray). Throughout the
year Heather enjoys adjudicating as well as teaching contemporary master classes across North America. Recently, Heather was a choreographer on the set of the Fox series “The Killing” and the new Canadian feature film “Random Acts of Romance” as well as 10 episodes of Tree House's "Bobs and Lolo". Her work has been shown at the Vancouver International Dance Festival, The Dance Centre (Vancouver), The Vogue Theatre and Soundbites Festival in New York City. Heather is a member of ACTRA, UBCP, The Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists, The Dancer Transition Resource Centre.

An accomplished dancer, singer and actor, Lindsay has performed and taught throughout Canada. As an adjudicator he has worked with the N.I.Festival of Performing Arts, Pacific West Festival, Danceworks Victoria, Chilliwack and Kamloops Festival of Performing Arts.
Teaching credits include Harbour Dance Centre, Van Tap Dance Society, Capilano College and several other West Coast studios. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Music (Voice Performance) and Diploma in Theatre Arts. He has studied tap with Brenda Bufalino, Dianne Walker, Heather Cornell, Roxane Butterfly, Lane Alexander, Cindy Kerr, Ray Hesselink, Germaine Salsberg, Jim Hibbard and Lisa Hopkins.
Lindsay’s musical theatre credits include roles with the Arts Club, Showcase Festival, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Gateway Theatre, Vancouver Playhouse, Pangaea Arts, Modern Baroque Opera, Ophidian, Pacific Opera Victoria, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Theatre Calgary, Citadel Theatre, Stage West and the Charlottetown Festival. Most recent performances include “Hero” tapper in the 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies and Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain for Theatre Under the Stars and is a regular soloist for tap events featuring Canadian artists. Choreography credits include Shrek, A Chorus Line, Crazy For You, Legally Blonde, Oliver, and Beauty and the Beast.

Fiona Smith A.R.A.D., R.A.D, TC, NBS, Dip. – Associate Director of the Junior School
A graduate of the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program and the London Studio Centre in London, England, Miss. Fiona has taught ballet in Japan, Toronto and Vancouver. Her formal training began at the Goh Ballet Academy, where she performed and toured throughout B.C., France and China with the Goh Ballet Youth Company. She then toured England with London Studio Centre’s Images of Dance working with choreographers such as Geoffrey Cauley, Michael Corder and Harold King. Returning to Canada, Miss. Fiona continued her education at the National Ballet School and earned her Advanced R.A.D., Advanced Cecchetti and Advanced National Dance examinations. She also received her teaching certificates in both the R.A.D. Teacher’s exam and ISTD National Dance exam. Miss Fiona returned to the Goh Ballet Academy in 2001 and brings her international experience and love of ballet to her current position as the Assistant Director to the Junior School.

CLAIRE FRENCH - Contemporary
Claire French is Vancouver-based, UK-born. She is co-artistic director of the dance and music company Restless Productions (alongside composer James Maxwell). www.restlessproductions.comFrench started dancing at the age of three and has not stopped yet. Since 1994, French has been an independent choreographer, teacher and collaborator working across Europe, the UK, and Canada. Recent projects and roles include Crowd Director/ Choreographer for the Canadian Badlands Passion Play in Alberta, Choreographer and Collaborator for a large-scale interdisciplinary installation performance with Mocean Dance and Sarah Bonnemaison, Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia, a collaboration with animator and visual artist Allison Hrabluik, Choreographer for graduating students of Lincoln University UK and Associate Producer of Dance in Vancouver 2013. French holds an MFA Interdisciplinary Studies from Simon Fraser University (1999) and a BA (Hons) degree in Dance with Inter-Arts from Leeds University College Bretton Hall UK (1994). In Vancouver she has taught dance and composition at Simon Fraser University, Capilano University, CADA/ BC, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, UBC, and many private studios.
French has presented many works for a variety of Vancouver platforms including 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Torch Relay
Celebrations, PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, Global Dance Connections, Dance in Vancouver, Dances for a Small a Stage, and 2013 World Dance Alliance Festival. French is the founder and director of Project CPR (Choreographic Practice and Research) an
annual program for emerging choreographers and dancers.

Lindsay’s musical theatre credits include roles with the Arts Club, Showcase Festival, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Gateway Theatre, Vancouver Playhouse, Pangaea Arts, Modern Baroque Opera, Ophidian, Pacific Opera Victoria, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Theatre Calgary, Citadel Theatre, Stage West and the Charlottetown Festival. Most recent performances include “Hero” tapper in the 2010 Olympic Opening Ceremonies and Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain for Theatre Under the Stars and is a regular soloist for tap events featuring Canadian artists. Choreography credits include Shrek, A Chorus Line, Crazy For You, Legally Blonde, Oliver, and Beauty and the Beast.

Fiona Smith A.R.A.D., R.A.D, TC, NBS, Dip. – Associate Director of the Junior School
A graduate of the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program and the London Studio Centre in London, England, Miss. Fiona has taught ballet in Japan, Toronto and Vancouver. Her formal training began at the Goh Ballet Academy, where she performed and toured throughout B.C., France and China with the Goh Ballet Youth Company. She then toured England with London Studio Centre’s Images of Dance working with choreographers such as Geoffrey Cauley, Michael Corder and Harold King. Returning to Canada, Miss. Fiona continued her education at the National Ballet School and earned her Advanced R.A.D., Advanced Cecchetti and Advanced National Dance examinations. She also received her teaching certificates in both the R.A.D. Teacher’s exam and ISTD National Dance exam. Miss Fiona returned to the Goh Ballet Academy in 2001 and brings her international experience and love of ballet to her current position as the Assistant Director to the Junior School.

Claire French is Vancouver-based, UK-born. She is co-artistic director of the dance and music company Restless Productions (alongside composer James Maxwell). www.restlessproductions.comFrench started dancing at the age of three and has not stopped yet. Since 1994, French has been an independent choreographer, teacher and collaborator working across Europe, the UK, and Canada. Recent projects and roles include Crowd Director/ Choreographer for the Canadian Badlands Passion Play in Alberta, Choreographer and Collaborator for a large-scale interdisciplinary installation performance with Mocean Dance and Sarah Bonnemaison, Dalhousie University in Halifax Nova Scotia, a collaboration with animator and visual artist Allison Hrabluik, Choreographer for graduating students of Lincoln University UK and Associate Producer of Dance in Vancouver 2013. French holds an MFA Interdisciplinary Studies from Simon Fraser University (1999) and a BA (Hons) degree in Dance with Inter-Arts from Leeds University College Bretton Hall UK (1994). In Vancouver she has taught dance and composition at Simon Fraser University, Capilano University, CADA/ BC, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, UBC, and many private studios.
French has presented many works for a variety of Vancouver platforms including 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Torch Relay

Heather Laura Gray began her training at L’Ecole Superieur de Dance du Quebec, The Goh Ballet and trained independently in voice, acting and many other dance disciplines. She has performed on stage and screen as an actor, dancer and singer. Her journey has led her to produce, direct and choreograph stage shows as well as perform and choreograph for contemporary dance companies. She is currently dancing for the response. Dance Company (Amber Funk Barton) and Dancers Dancing (Judith Garray). Throughout the
year Heather enjoys adjudicating as well as teaching contemporary master classes across North America. Recently, Heather was a choreographer on the set of the Fox series “The Killing” and the new Canadian feature film “Random Acts of Romance” as well as 10 episodes of Tree House's "Bobs and Lolo". Her work has been shown at the Vancouver International Dance Festival, The Dance Centre (Vancouver), The Vogue Theatre and Soundbites Festival in New York City. Heather is a member of ACTRA, UBCP, The Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists, The Dancer Transition Resource Centre.
