Day 1 & 2: Tawi Lodge, Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park
The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the snow cap of Mount Kilimanjaro, open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. Renowned for its excellent Masaai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah viewing and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya most popular parks. The birding is excellent especially near the lakes and swamps.
Tawi Lodge is located on a private conservancy of 6,000 acres just five minutes from Amboseli National Park. This community-run conservancy, together with African WildlifeFoundation, promotes and maintains a harmonious development for the wildlife and the Maasai people along the corridor between Amboseli and the Chyulu Hills. The lodge is an eco-friendly operation, which takes maximum care of the environment and its people. It consists of 13 cottages ideally located on bush land facing Kilimanjaro.
Each cottage has its own wooden-deck veranda and a fabulous view of the highest mountain in Africa, even from the comfort of your bed or your bathtub. Double or twin cottages, all have en suite bathrooms fitted with both a bath and shower. Each cottage has its own fireplace and a mini bar for those very special sundowners. Lighting and water systems are solar powered.
The style of the lodge is a harmonious combination of modern (for your comfort) and traditional (to remind you that you are in Africa).

Day 3 - 6: Mara Bush Camp, Maasai Mara Reserve
Maasai Mara Reserve
The Maasai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia
trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further.
The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends; large prides of lions, elephants and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles and eland to mention but a few. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential and you can even do a horseback safari.
Overnight: Mara Bush Camp
Mara Bush Camp offers you everything desired in an “authentic safari experience”! Discreetly ‘tucked away’ in a
riverine forest on the banks of the seasonal Olare Orok River with an excellent location close to Ol kiombo airstrip, it is situated in heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
All 12 river front tents have been placed far enough apart to guarantee complete tranquillity and privacy. All tents are furnished with a comfortable 4 poster bed (double/ twin available on request) mosquito net, en-suite bathrooms and safari style shower, clothes rack & storage chest, writing desk & private veranda.
Additional features are a comfortable Lounge and Bar Tent as well as a private Dining Tent where a selection of freshly prepared meals , mostly buffet style, are served by our in-house chef, who caters for all dietary requests happily . Our chef will also ensure that picnic meals are readily available for all those who prefer to stay out in the bush all day long. For photographers, a separate Photo- Lounge to charge camera equipment and laptops has been set up. The little boutique shop compliments the set-up and one can purchase unique souvenirs to take home. Unwind around a cozy campfire under the African stars whilst reminiscing about your day in the wild. The Camp is fully solar
powered, but a generator (well tucked away to ensure complete silence) is available to provide power as a back-up system.
Mara Bush Camp is not fenced, therefore Maasai ‘Moranis’ (Warriors) will look out for your safety while you are
sleeping.
The little luxury Camp is for the visitor who appreciates maximum privacy away from mass tourism and wants to
enjoy an authentic ‘safari’ experience rather than a large, touristic lodge with swimming pool & entertainment.
Are YOU dreaming of “sleeping under canvas “a’ la Ernest Hemingway?
