Austerity continues to hit public sector services across the country. Cost cutting exercises and business change are needed to cope with shrinking budgets. The challenge was to reduce costs through fuel efficiency and improve service frequency intervals. Secure and accurate real-time data is required.

Fuel Savings

Once installed, the economy of fleet improved by 7.3mpg, which resulted in 2,700 gallons less fuel per month. This is equal to a 17% reduction in the fuel bill and over a full year, a saving of
