Above all international, diverse and ambitious!
The placement of the 2014 class is characterized by a strong internationalisation of the first job not only in VIE (French
international programme), but also in through ambitious international Graduate Programmes and local contacts.
18 % in VIE (French international programme) and Graduate Programmes
43 % got a job outside their home country, across 50 different countries
In 2014, signs of economic recovery were discreet, but EDHEC Master Graduates were well prepared and they
effectively confronted an increasingly globalized and competitive first job market.
The EDHEC Career Centre is proud of its impact on the Class of 2014 placement: from the first week on campus
and throughout the years students spend at EDHEC, we offer a fully integrated, intense group training and individual
support programme aimed at developing managerial competencies and the necessary skills for the competitive
international recruitment processes. The Talent Identification and Career Development program, TI&CD, is unique in
Europe and recognized as a best practice by the main business school accreditation bodies.
66% got a job with an international dimension
The strong qualities of our graduates - Intellectual Capacity, Maturity & Team-Orientation, Cultural Sensitivity &
Adaptability and « Ready to perform » - allowed them to transcend local economic situations and to benefit from
rapid and high-quality insertion.
43% found employment before the end of their studies
The wide range of functions, sectors and locations of EDHEC graduates reflects the diversity of specialties offered in
the different MSc programmes and their strong international exposure. The digital transformation impacts today alI
the functions but the proportion of exclusively digital functions remained stable.
In accordance with the main characteristics of their generation, young graduates chose their first job primarily for the
adequacy to their interests and professional projects. Their choice of positions demonstrates their motivation to learn
and develop as well as their desire to take on new challenges and to gain international perspective*.
The number of entrepreneurs is growing and 20 graduates started their business before graduation. This represents
a three-fold increase over the last five years.
