This interactivity delivers numerous benefi ts to end users. For instance, forced door messages are sent directly from SATEON to the specifi c CCTV camera to monitor the event in question. New employees are automatically enrolled with their individual access privileges thanks to integration with third party HR databases, thus reducing duplication of tasks for HR and Security. This new starter can arrive for their fi rst day and be guided to their relevant fl oor, while lights and air conditioning automatically switched off as they leave at the end of their working day.

Take Brunel University for example; Harry Blethyn and his Technical Services Team designed a solution that would suit Brunel University’s exact requirements and link into their student database to reduce duplication of tasks when it came to issuing access cards to newly enrolled students.

Not only did he and his team take the project from conception to installation, he was on hand to help administrators get the most out of our time saving database integration solutions on the day the university put SATEON through its paces with the enrolment of 11,000 students. We like to think that it is this level of service, combined with industry-leading features that kept Brunel University coming back to Grosvenor Technology since we fi rst installed their original Grosvenor JANUS Access Control system back in 1993.
