Hello Everyone!
After long hours of work, the acolyte schedule is finally complete! I hope everyone finds it easy to follow. I have tried to honor everyone’s requests regarding which service they usually attend. This year we have 48 acolytes. The schedule was designed to be as fair as possible, as soon as every acolyte was scheduled, I started from the top of the list again. As a change for this year, I have included both an email address and phone number whenever possible. Both are contact information which I received from St. Andrew’s, if there are any changes or an address you prefer I use please let me know.
Look over the schedule to see when you are on, taking note of which Sundays only have one service or if you are scheduled for an evening service Christmas Eve or during Holy Week. If you cannot make the day that you are scheduled, please make every effort to use the contact information provided to switch with someone for a more convenient time. If you do switch, please just email me to give me a heads up so I know who to look for before the service. In the event that you cannot find a substitute, email me and I will assist in finding a substitute, but let me know who you did contact so that I do not ask the same people twice.
When looking at the schedule, if your name has (BB) after it, you are the book bearer that day. On the day you are scheduled, PLEASE arrive at the church 15-20 minutes before the service is scheduled to begin. This gives us time to get robed and go over any last minute questions before the service. For those of you scheduled at 8:45, I am usually at the church by 8:15 every Sunday so feel free to get there early and ask any questions; I usually also stick around until 10:45-11:00 for questions from 11:15 service acolytes. If you are acolyting at 11:15 and you know you want to go over it with me before the service, email me and I will make sure I stay to meet with you. You can always ask me questions at Confirmation class too, I do not want anyone feeling they are unprepared.
