CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT SERIES

The Trophy Show, Mid Summer Masters and Saskatoon Classic now make up the CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT SERIES. Points will accumulate from the three events that make up the tournament series. During the Saskatoon Classic, Tournament Series High Point and Reserve High Point will be awarded for:

• Low Hunter – 2’ 6” and under • High Hunter – 2’ 9” and over • Low Jumper - 1.0m and under • High Jumper – 1.10 and over

High Point and Reserve High Point will receive prizes.

After each of the first two competitions, a list of current point leaders will be posted on our Champions Tournament Facebook page.

Schooling Hunter, Medal and Clear Round jumper classes will not count towards these awards.

SASKATCHEWAN HORSE FEDERATION

SHF Heritage Circuit and SHF Prairie Cup nominations must be purchased prior to competition. If nominations are not received by the SHF before competition the points for the show won’t count. Points earned during this show will count towards year-end awards. Heritage Circuit and Prairie Cup classes are indicated in the prize list.

SASKATCHEWAN HUNTER JUMPER ASSOCIATION

Saskatchewan Hunter Jumper Association memberships are required for participation in SHJA medal classes. If memberships are not received by the SHJA before competition the points won’t count.

JOCKEY CLUB THOROUGHBRED CLUB

To encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon completion of careers in racing or breeding, The Jockey Club is proud to announce the Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.). All three events in the Champions Tournament Series are T.I.P. shows. Only Thoroughbreds that have been registered with The Jockey Club or a foreign Thoroughbred stud book recognized by The Jockey Club are eligible to participate in T.I.P. classes and awards. Riders and owners should obtain a T.I.P. number for all horse/rider combinations. T.I.P. number applications are done online at www.tjctip.com. T.I.P. numbers must be provided to the horse show. Thoroughbreds entered in the T.I.P. program are eligible to win the Hunter High Point Thoroughbred Award and Jumper High Point Thoroughbred Award. NOTE: you must be entered into the T.I.P. program prior to the show.
