Because cameras from Baumer support the GenICam™ standard they can also be easily integrated into Third Party Software.

Baumer offers many GigE Vision® cameras with resolutions of up to 5 megapixels
on the basis of modern CCD sensors in its TXG series. These cameras convince users with their excellent image quality and reliable industrial design. The integration of the cameras is simplified by the various mounting points in the camera housing. The cameras are fitted with one input and one output as standard. Additional models with up to 6 digital inputs and outputs are available for complex applications.
The powerful GigE interface
With a bandwidth of up to 120 MB/s and cable lengths of up to 100 m the GigE interface is the perfect solution for single and multiple camera systems, whereby cost-intensive frame grabbers can be replaced with standard Ethernet components.

Useful additional functions have been implemented in order to increase the user-friendliness of the TXG cameras. For example the Debouncer offers improved trigger stability, while functions such as the Sequencer or the Timer substantially increase flexibility of image acquisition and illumination. Thanks to MultiCast, images can be provided at different destinations for applications with several PCs.

Innovative and high-performance characteristics were combined with modern CMOS technology in the EXG camera series from Baumer. These models, with their attractive price/performance ratio and simultaneously high image quality, are a cost-efficient alternative to CCD cameras. High frame rates can be achieved through direct reading of the freely selectable Region of Interest (ROI). The extremely com-pact housing design of 36 x 36 x 42 mm also allows simple integration into even the most confined spaces.

The Starter Kit enables simple assessment of the SXG cameras. The complete package includes cables, the Baumer SDK and a Gigabit Ethernet PCI express card with 2 GigE connections. These connections have Power over Ethernet, removing
features such as the Sequencer, Trigger Delay and Debouncer also simplify the use of the cameras in highly diverse applications.

The integrated Trigger Delay guarantees simplified synchronization between application and camera while the Sequencer substantially simplifies the acquisition of image series with changing acquisition parameters. Limitless flexibility
Standard cameras reach their limits in applications in which each millimeter of space counts and a high degree of flexibility is required. The Board Level camera series MXG from Baumer offers the solution for applications that require highly flexible components. The
remote sensor circuit board is hardly lar-ger than a 2-Euro piece at 28 x 28 mm and is connected to the system circuit board via a flexprint. The cameras can thus be adjusted individually to their environmental conditions.

The GigE Trigger Device from Baumer enables the simple integration of process-relevant sensors and actuators into the camera network. With nu-merous inputs and outputs it offers sufficient connections to integrate light barriers or encoders and to thus realize innovative camera control. The input signals from the sensors are evaluated
by the Trigger Device and used for real-time capable triggering of one or several cameras via the network. Based on the image analysis on the PC the Trigger Device is capable of switching the digital outputs that can be used to e.g. control double door systems. In order to also fulfill the requirements of harsh industrial environments Baumer also offers cameras in an IP67 protective housing that is waterproof and dustproof in accordance with this protection type. The housing protects the camera with the sensor and all the electronics. The integrated C-Mount connection means that all standard lenses are also securely enclosed without a separate protective housing becoming necessary. An M12 plug rounds off the industrial design and enables a secure connection between the camera and the interface. The IP67 cameras are available with a GigE interface and resolutions up to 5 megapixels.

Data transfer rates up to 800 Mbit/s
With the TXD and TXF series Baumer is offering two camera lines with FireWireTM
interfaces. These cameras use the IEEE1394b standard and convince users with their high data transfer rates of up to 800 Mbit/s. The downward compatibility of the cameras also supports the older IEEE1394a standard.
TXF Series – Baumer FCAM, a step ahead of DCAM
With its TXF series Baumer has opti-mized the FireWireTM cameras
specifi-cally for use in industrial systems. The cameras with the FCAM driver rely on protocol based and asynchronous data transfer and thus profit from both great-er system security and maximum use of the bus bandwidth up to 80 MB/s.
TXD Series – DCAM compliance simplifies integration
The TXD series uses the standardized DCAM (IIDC V1.31) protocol for data transfer and thus enables simple inte-gration of the camera, whether via the generic programming interface Baumer-GAPI or other image processing software that supports this standard.

The Baumer-GAPI is a generic applica-tion programming interface (API) and is distinguished by its high degree of stability and power. Simply put, it is easy to integrate any Baumer camera into your software environment. It sup-ports the Windows and Linux (32/64
bit) operating systems with various programming languages (C, C++, C# for .NETTM). Cameras with different
hardware interfaces (Gigabit Ethernet, CameraLink®, FireWireTM) can be
