Radiator Trap/Radiator Valve

It is a trap mainly installed at condensate outlet side of radiator for steam heater.

Thermostatic type, such as bellows type or wax type, is used.

Because heat sensitive area sensing temperature is larger than wax type, and responsiveness of

temperature change is good, condensate retention is quite small and condensate is discharged quickly.

It is used with installed on heat release equipment using cold and hot water mainly. By regulating the

valve opening constant, it can be used as return valve.

It is used with installed on heat release equipment of heater, which uses steam mainly. Flow rate can be

regulated manually.

Because sensor which senses temperature is capsule wax type, its structure is effective for impact

pressure of water hammer, etc.

Precautions for operation

Tightening pressure of the packing may decrease during transportation and storing. In this case, please additionally fasten the gland nut before using the valve.

If external leakage has been neglected, leakage may not stop by additional tightening. Please check the valve daily and do the additional fastening earlier.
