Glorious to view.

Far and wide her sons and daughters Bear the gold and blue,

Proudly rally 'round her banner, Hail! Wingate! to you!

We Have Played A Part in Another

Year at Wingate

We

entered school in September with a world at war. Sopho- mores greeted each other, while the Freshman stood back wond-

ering

why

so

much

noise over such little things as people. They,

too, were awakened to the Wingate spirit as the older students turned their attention to the newcomers. Soon everyone found

his place and another year began at Wingate.

These weeks at Wingate are filled with some of the happiest days of your life. Sometimes the going seemed tough, but you came through.

You

thought you were going to fail that Biology or Chemistry but you didn't. Remember those good times we had in Masque and

Wig

and Commercial Clubs?

How

about the Glee Club trips? Sure, it was a lot of fun, just as were those bull sessions after light bell.

The time spent this year is gone, but this year will live on and on.

We

will leave school with the world still at war. As you enter the future, turn the pages and relive those days spent at Wingate.
