Who S hould Apply: Undergraduate seniors & recent alumni

Eligibility:

• Must be a U.S. citizen, either native born or naturalized, and must be a senior who is enrolled in one of the institutions participating in the

Scholarship Program or a student who has graduated from one of those institutions within the past 12 months

• Upon taking up the Churchill Scholarship, a Churchill Scholar must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent, and may not have attained a doctorate

Rangel International Affairs Program: The Rangel Program is a collaborative effort between Howard University and the U.S. State Department that seeks to attract and prepare

outstanding young people for careers as diplomats in the

Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. The Program encourages the application of members of minority groups

historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need. There are two main components to the

program: the graduate fellowship and the undergraduate summer enrichment program.
