Benefit from the most effective

CCTV management platform

Cware is an advanced video manage-ment and Networked Video Recording (NVR) platform that makes control of surveillance networks simpler and more effective than ever before.

Based on open standards architecture Cware provides the freedom to create integrated surveillance networks. Support of multiple IP cameras and encoders from a range of manufacturers ensures investment protection for existing network equipment and int-egration with new products and technologies in the future.

An advanced user-friendly interface that can be customized to meet individual requirements enables simultaneous access to live and recorded video making it easy for all levels of security personnel to operate and control the system. Comprehensive vid-eo management, on screen display, alarm, recording and playback features deliver support for limitless cameras, recording servers and operator workstations. Ad-vanced features such as Image Content Navigation (ICN) and 2.5D Live Maps provide unrivalled video interaction, innovating the way locations are monitored.

Highly flexibly and cost-effective architecture enables Cware to easily manage single or multiple locations and all sizes of installation, supporting thousands of cameras. A modular

approach utilising common PC, networking and storage hardware, provides a platform for endless scalability, without requiring full and costly system upgrades. The number of cameras, clients and storage capacity can be increased with ease and by supporting a high level of system redundancy disruption to security operations is minimized.

Having supplied thousands of solutions through a worldwide network of channel partner’s, real world experience is at the heart of Cware development. Based on flexible architecture, boasting advanced features and designed specifically for the user Cware delivers all the advantages of a next generation management platform today.

Integration

Cware is an advanced management platform that is user-friendly and provides comp-rehensive live viewing, recording and playback of video surveillance. As an open standards platform Cware supports integration with third party cameras, codecs and analytics providers such as Object Video. Cware enables operators to navigate and control video better than ever before.

Video Analytics

Video Analytics deliver increased efficiency for security surveillance operations. A wide range of events such as unauthorized movement in pre-defined target zones, loitering, perimeter breaches and theft of items are automatically detected. Video is constantly scrutinized; all objects and events are classified against user-defined security policies, filtering all extraneous background data. If a policy has been broken a wide variety of automatic countermeasures can be taken. For example, cameras can automatically zoom and track objects, recorded audible alarms can be played and emails or text messages can be sent to notify security personnel.

Image Content Navigation (ICN)

ICN addresses a major issue for the management of large video surveillance systems. When tracking a person or object around a site it is often difficult to keep up with the target. While a map based GUI partially addresses this issue by illustrating camera locations on a map, it does not provide the means to track a target as it moves between areas covered by different cameras. Remembering camera names and numbers, especially if users are unfamiliar with the site complicates this task. ICN solves this problem by connecting adjacent cameras together with an invisible mesh of hyperlinks. On screen the video changes to show the area that the target has entered. All the user has to do is ‘point and click’ on the hyperlink in the video to switch cameras (or just touch the screen when using a touch screen monitor) and continue tracking, instantly navigating from one camera to another. Any number of video channels can benefit from ICN support, even tracking of many objects in multiple views.

Dynamic 2.5D Live Maps

2.5D Live Maps technology is part of Controlware’s innovative approach to site monitoring and control. This unique navigational tool provides the user with improved viewing and site navigation delivering a fresh alternative to traditional fixed size multi-map tools. Boasting a zoomable map with X / Y axis navigation, live camera preview, linked maps, hyper-links with preview image, customized view presets and more, this tool sets new standards for interaction with video surveillance. 2.5D Live Maps adds a set of tools for geographical navigation and site management that deliver greater efficiency enabling the user to control and navigate around a monitored site as if they are physically there.

Video Wall

Controlware’s Video Wall – Virtual Matrix software is an external add-on module. It runs on separate PCs and provides an efficient solution for viewing practically unlimited numbers of camera images on multiple displays. Video Wall provides users with increased flexibility and access to network video for 24x7x365 real-time monitoring of multiple cameras. Video wall is connected to Cware over the IP network enabling centralized management and control of displayed layouts, formats and video channel selection.

Web Client

Web Client provides remote viewing and control of all live and recorded video from anywhere in the world. This add-on module enables online control of PTZ, analog and IP security cameras from multiple video servers in a single window. The Web Client module supports remote access for multiple users with authorization granted by the system administrator. Through Web Client users can monitor and control any site with simultaneous viewing of up to four live or recorded video channels. With a unique transcoding engine the Web Client works with any network bandwidth connection speed.

Cware System

Open Standards

Multi-vendor support allows users to select the equipment they want to use from the manufacturers of their choice.

Video Content Analysis

Integration with content analysis found in cameras encoders and external servers can be associated with triggers to activate video channels, drive video wall displays, drive external devices and send emails.

Flexible Client Server Architecture

Network expansion is cost-effective with support of limitless cameras, recording servers and operator workstations.

Features

User Customization

Layouts including text, images and maps can be customized for specific users or groups, allowing quick familiarisation with the system reducing training requirements. User friendly control is also possible through a range of options that include joystick, keyboard or PC mouse.

User-Friendly Interface

Cware is extremely easy-to-use with live and recorded playback that dramatically simplifies video surveillance as security requirements evolve.

Intelligent Video Tracking

The ICN tool helps track targets faster as they move between areas covered by different cameras. Users can follow targets on screen by clicking within the video. ICN improves user interaction with video surveillance.

Intelligent 2.5D Map Navigation

Intelligent 2.5D Live Maps technology allows live, snapshot and Icon based viewing of video. Users can also zoom in making navigation through hundreds of cameras much easier. Maps can be layered and linked according to the site and user requirements.

Recording & Video Search Tools

Fast video time, date and location searches enable rapid investigation of incidents and resolution of disputes.

Configurable Recording

Support for continuous or scheduled recording. Recording can be triggered by activity or alarms that enable more efficient storage of recorded images.

Bandwidth Management

Multi uni-cast for non-multicast networks. Reduces costs in Layer 3 networks by having the servers create the video streams as requested by the clients.

Audio Streaming

Full duplex audio over IP. Audio enabled encoders communicate directly via the client to remote sites. This is useful for opening doors, intercom operations and as announcements over a PA system.

Advanced Alarm Management

Cware has an advanced I/O function that integrates alarms from external applications with configurable triggers, actions and alarm stacking. Alarms can be automatically or manually acknowledged in the alarm stack. Any alarm can be configured to trigger any event.

Easy Video Export

Options include Native video & AVI. The native video recording can be played back in its own player with the option to check the video integrity with watermarking. Transcoding to AVI allows playback through a standard Windows Media player.

Web Client

Provides remote monitoring access from anywhere in the world.
