File Preview
Tap [ ] or [ ] at the bottom of the preview screen to switch between and check file previews. NOTE
In iPads with iOS 5.x installed, if you preview scanned data separated into multiple files, switching the display between the previous page and next page may not operate correctly. If this happens, operation might be improved by lowering the scanned data size by decreasing the resolution in the scan settings of the device. This problem does not occur in iOS 6 and later.
Cannot Scan
If you are scanning from an imageRUNNER ADVANCE using the <Scan and Send> function, and set a file name at the device that includes diacritical marks or certain symbols such as double-byte characters, umlauts, and/or accents, the data cannot be correctly received in this app and a transmission failure error message will be displayed at the device.
When specifying a file name at the device, enter a file name using single-byte roman characters or single-byte symbols (ASCII characters).
If you are scanning from an imageRUNNER ADVANCE and are using iOS 5.x with an iPad, this app may not operate correctly depending on the size of the scanned data. If this happens, reducing the scanned data amount by lowering the resolution in the scan settings etc. will improve operation. This phenomenon does not occur from iOS 6 onward.
If you scan data with a high resolution setting, the operations of this app may become unstable. In order to stabilize operations, reduce the resolution when scanning.
If [Management Settings] > [License/Other] > [MEAP Settings] > [Use SSL] is set to [On] on an imageRUNNER ADVANCE device and the version of certificate used in SSL is "X.509v1", you may not be able to configure scan settings on a mobile terminal even if the Canon Mobile Scanning MEAP Application is installed in the device. If this is the case, use the <Scan and Send> function of the device. (→ "Scanning (imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series When Using the <Scan and Send> Function)")
Cannot Print
To use the print functions, you need to install Canon Mobile Printing Version 2.0.0 or later in your mobile terminal beforehand.
You can access the Canon Mobile Printing download page by searching "Canon Mobile Printing" in the App Store.
If the Canon Mobile Printing version already installed is old, perform an update installation from the App Store.
