School Vision Statement:

East Amwell Township School District... is a safe, supportive community that recognizes all students as unique individuals and provides opportuni-ties for academic, artistic, cultural, emotional, physical, social and charac-ter development in a diverse and ever-changing society.

Cougars ROAR!

SUPERINDENTENT’S CORNER

Greetings!

It is with a heavy heart that the Administration and the East Amwell Board of Education report the passing of Doreen Kraycirik on February 2, 2020. Doreen had proudly served on the school board since 2014. During that time, she served on the cafeteria, budget and finance, and buildings and grounds committees, and was instrumental in getting the referendum passed for the 2018 addition to the school. She was always willing to do anything to help provide an excellent educational experience for all in-volved with the school, be it as a board member or as a parent of Jason, EATS Class of 2017 and Jessica, EATS Class of 2015. Our heartfelt sympa-thies are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

We hope to finalize our school calendar for 2020-2021 at the March Board of Education meeting. I’m certain teachers will report September 1st and 2nd and students will start September 3rd. Later dates in the year are still to be examined to coincide with HCRHS transportation. Final calendar should be distributed mid-March.

We have been lucky with snow days. Let’s hope we escape any more snow in March.
