Unboxed Consulting is the UK’s leading agency for Ruby on Rails development, and Agile

We have built applications and websites for Channel 5, Contiki, Apple Core SA and the UK Government, including highly successful mobile apps for the 18-35 market.

Gareth Cliff is a radio and TV personality in South Africa. He is a breakfast show host, a judge for Idols South Africa, has 330,000 fans on Facebook and is the most followed person on Twitter in South Africa.
Gareth has mastered engaging fans through social media and Unboxed were asked to create an exclusive, entertaining and unique iPhone app for Gareth’s fans.
The Gareth Cliff iPod app, is part of a suite of related applications
The remit was to create a visually compelling, entertaining app that amalgamates all social media, as well as having unique content and a funky design. From the initial creative workshop, Unboxed produced the visual designs, wireframes and UX and developed two apps including a content management system (CMS). The main app is the creative one for the fans, but a second app allows Gareth to record daily videos, assign publishing dates and upload to the CMS.
Gareth Cliff fans now have an app that includes:

• Customised weather graphics and sounds
