1. Senior Java Programmer (3 Positions)

Responsibilities:

 Responsible to deliver quality software solutions using standard end to end software development cycle

 Collaborate with the team to gather and define requirements.

 Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.

 Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments.

 Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product.

 Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables or procedures, modular and database level.

 Plan and produce training materials on software products, deliver the trainings and ensure continuous user support

 Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.  Creates prototypes for client engagements

 Making presentations to customer or client audiences or professional peers.

 Maintain a database of requests from various clients, summarize and keep the team abreast of strategic information from all sources

 Integrate software with existing systems

 Monitor new developments/tools on the market and provide/implement strategic advise  Perform any other duty being subsequently assigned.

Profile and Relevant Experience

 Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or ICT related field

 At least 3 years’ experience in active java web applications development or proof of freelance implementation of operational software applications for medium or large enterprises using recent technologies

 Must have knowledge in various web and mobile web applications development technologies

 Experience with SQL Server Database including database design and data analysis  Experience with core J2EE technologies

 Experience with JavaScript. Knowledge of Ajax nice to have

 Experience with data access technologies such as JDBC and Hibernate

 Experience with NetBeans IDE required. Experience with IDEs like Eclipse desirable  Experience with version control systems (SVN, etc) desirable

 Experience with Apache and/or Tomcat. Knowledge of JBoss a plus

 Implementation Level knowledge and hands-on experience in XML/Web Services  Experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring or Struts nice to have

 Soft skills include:

o Ability to analyze someone else’s code and assume ownership o Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities o Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of formats

o Strong coaching skills. Ability to step outside role confines and help teach and enable other team members.

Knowledge of the following areas a plus: • Linux

• Content Management System (CMS) experience (Typo 3, Joomla, SPIP, Drupal)

2. Senior Database and Application Administrator (1 Position)

Responsibilities;

1. Designing, implementation, configuring and supporting large and heavy Databases. 2. Build database schema, tables, procedures and permissions

3. Develop database utilities and automated reporting 4. Create shell scripts for task automation

5. Perform database and application administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery for production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability.

6. Oversee backup, clustering, mirroring, replication and failover 7. Restore and recover corrupted databases

9. Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues. 10. Recommend standards and procedures for acquisition of database systems to ensure

quality control and compliancy of requirement specifications; 11. Design and document database architecture and Data Modeling. 12. Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.

13. Perform database transactions and security audits.

14. Mentor new database administrators as they come on board

15. Capable for planning, processing and performing with limited/no assistance from the supervisor

16. Perform any other duty being subsequently assigned

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer Engineering, Software Engineering or ICT related field with minimum of 3 years working experience on Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL database.

1. Certification in Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL Administration is required 2. Certification in A+, N+ is an added advantage

Skills

1. Proficient in web application security and database security. Experience with an application / database layer intrusion detection / prevention appliance is greatly appreciated.

2. Proficient in designing, writing, editing, and debugging programs and databases;

3. Preferably having working knowledge of J2EE on .NET technologies, Javascript, PHP, Web services, XML, UNIX, Linux and an industry standard reporting tool.

3. Software Engineers (6 Positions)

 Analyze, design, and carry out the development of software systems upon request based on software development lifecycle standards

 Collaborate with the team to gather and define requirements.

 Support, maintain, administer and document software functionalities

 Produce training materials on software products, deliver the trainings and ensure continuous user support

 Mentor new developers as they come on board

 Implementing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, availability and disaster recovery of databases and their accompanying software.

 Perform any other duty being subsequently assigned.

Profile and Relevant Experience

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or ICT related field

Skills:

1. Hands on development with C, C++, ASP.Net/C#. HTML, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, J2EE, Servlets, Struts, spring and Hibernate

2. Hands on administration of SQL Server databases 3. Open source technologies skills

4. Knowledge of web server infrastructure

5. Knowledge of Server environments (Window, Linux a plus) 6. Ability to work in a team

4. Testing, Training and Support Officer (10 Positions)

 Developing and executing performance tests  Identifying and driving bugs to closure

 Design, develop, and implement the training and education programs on our products  Plan for, produce and keep updated training materials

 Plan the change management implementation and implement the change

 Monitor and evaluate the organization's performance once the change has been implemented.

 Support the development, configuration, administration of software and databases  Give and ensure the provision of technical support to end users

 In consultation with the client, assist in the development and monitor systems to ensure requirements are met.

 Log support calls or emails and document their outcome to facilitate the resolution of common queries.

 Undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature, as defined by line manager from time to time

Minimum Requirements:

 Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Technical background and an understanding of government processes

 Good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, .NET, JAVA, etc  Database skills, mainly in SQL Server

 Good experience with different Operating Systems

 Must demonstrate an understanding of IP networking, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, firewalls, routers, etc.

 Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously  Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated

 Punctual, Regular and consistent attendance

Education:
