Established in 1881, the Queensland College of Art is one of Australia's longest-running art and design colleges while also remaining one of the most modern, offering the widest range of visual art programs in the country. It brings together some of the finest artists and academics in the areas of visual arts, design, indigenous art and screen media, and has produced many of Australia's leading practitioners.
School of Continuing and Professional Studies
The Chinese University of Hong Kong
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) established the Department of Extramural Studies in 1965 and in January 2006, it was renamed as the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (CUSCS). Bearing the mission of providing quality continuing professional education programs and services to meet the changing needs of society, the School offers a diverse range of courses and programs at different levels. They cover disciplines including Art and Design, Humanities, Creative Media, Music, Business and Management, Accounting and Finance, Social Sciences, Applied Sciences, Languages, Health Care, Information Technology and Technology Management as well as Nature and Environment.
Starting from 1988, CUSCS has diversified its portfolio in collaboration with professional organizations, as well as academic institutions in mainland China and overseas to offer award-bearing programs. CUSCS also offers tailored corporate training courses to private companies, government departments and non-government organizations, schools and universities in Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, and overseas.
In support of the Government's initiatives to provide secondary school leavers with additional pathways to pursue higher education in Hong Kong, the School has been offering a variety of Higher Diploma Programs since 2002. In response to the implementation of the “334” academic structure, the School introduced the 2-year Higher Diploma Programs for HKDSE students in the 2012-13 academic year. In 2014-15, the School launched a 1-year full-time "Diploma Program in Foundation Studies" to provide HKDSE students an alternative option for further studies.
To enhance articulation opportunities for sub-degree graduates, CUSCS has collaborated with Griffith University in offering full-time Top-up Undergraduate Degree Programs in Hong Kong since 2006.
Bachelor of Digital Media (Graphic Design)
This degree program is offered by the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Students will develop the professional and creative skills needed to take advantage of opportunities to work in graphic design. This program is multidisciplinary and encourages students to tailor their experience and work across disciplines.

Application Procedures
Application forms can be downloaded from School website (www.cuscs.hk/topup). The application form should be sent to one of the Enrolment Centres in person or by mail to CUSCS Head Office with the following:
1. A non-refundable application fee of HK$200 by crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong”
2. A copy of HKID Card or relevant identification document 3. A copy of transcripts showing all the courses taken and the
results for your Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Diploma / Associate Degree programs
4. A copy of graduation certificate (if any)
5. A copy of IELTS report or Medium of Instruction letter issued by the Principal / Registrar of your institution(s) for your previous two years of study
6. A portfolio CD/DVD should include all graphics compiled into a single PDF file and non-graphics work into separate folder. Online application is available at www.cuscs.hk/topup. Applicants should still submit supporting documents (items 2 to 6 listed above) to one of the Enrolment Centres in person or by mail to CUSCS Head Office.

Program Structure
Students are required to complete 10 courses. Depending on the students' previous studies and subject to the approval of Griffith University, a maximum of four courses may be exempted. Course include:

• Major Studio Project (20CP) • Industry Practice (20CP)

Professional Recognition
Graduates are eligible for membership of the Design Institute of Australia.
Duration
The Program can normally be completed within 12 months of full-time study.
Tuition Fee
HK$9,950 per 10 credit points*
Academic Staff
Lecturers and tutorials are taught by academic staff appointed or approved by Griffith University.
Award
The degree will be awarded by Griffith University. It will have equal status to those awarded by the university to resident graduates.
Medium of Instruction
All teaching and assessment are in English.
Scholarships and Financial Assistance
• Griffith University will offer scholarships to the best performing student on the completion of the program.
• Students can apply for financial assistance through the Government's Extended Non-means Tested Loan Scheme (ENLS).
