Primary purpose: To play a major role in the success of the business by ensuring

Provides high level inputs in the planning and development phase of new projects to help ensure the final product has maximum target appeal on all key elements of the marketing mix
Product receives early positive market reaction with high inquiry rates
Key external stakeholders review and endorse the product concept favourably
Ensures that the sales
performance is optimised at all levels and channels by setting appropriate targets and providing necessary support and guidance for sales assistants
Product sales rates delivered to budget All product ranges achieve targeted sales by agreed dates
Prepares marketing budgets by product and develops marketing strategies to achieve required sales rates
Adapts marketing and
communications strategies to changing market conditions
Product sales achieved within budgeted promotion costs

Ensures that sales staff are inducted, skilled, audited and trained to the level required to carry out required business processes

Typical
qualifications and experience:
At least 10 years experience in marketing and sales at a senior corporate level in an allied industry. Highly developed team management, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability in managing complex environments. Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
Other relevant information:
Needs to be highly flexible on work availability (days and hours) and must be able to liaise effectively with people from various levels in a corporate environment.

provision of timely and strategically relevant marketing and promotional initiatives
Key result area Measure
Recommends, develops and implements an annual marketing plan that achieves the agreed objectives of the company
The targets and objectives agreed in the marketing plan are achieved with the specified time frames and budgets
Develops, coordinates and implements pre-set sales promotion activities as required
Sales promotion activities are implemented as scheduled
Manages the marketing budget to achieve the critical priorities in a coordinated and systematic way
Quarterly budget published prior to new quarter and budget not exceeded
Researches, identifies and recommends advertising and promotional opportunities that enhance and clearly differentiate our brand offering in the
marketplace while contributing to effective sales development
Advertising and promotional activities
implemented are achieved within agreed time frames, stay within agreed budgets and meet agreed sales promotion objectives
Assesses, reviews and streamlines the corporate database to ensure optimum leverage of the data in the sales and marketing process
The development and application of the
database enables the company to target specific identified groups as and when required
Typical
qualifications and experience:
Appropriate tertiary qualification in public relations and / or marketing plus at least 3 years experience in a marketing role. Excellent communication, organisation and people skills. Experience and familiarity with software relating to marketing and advertising applications required.
Other relevant information:
Good research skills an advantage. Ability to work across the organisation and with external stakeholders at all levels.

Primary purpose: To achieve company sales targets by consolidating and servicing
existing accounts, recognising new opportunities and ensuring pre-eminence of the company’s brand in the marketplace. Also ensuring that management is kept up-to-date with the latest market trends and developments.
Key result area Measure
Achieves monthly, 6 monthly and annual sales targets
‘Sales to date’ results are on target or exceed targets
Continues and enhances customer loyalty
Repeat business and increased business to existing customers
Demonstrates thorough product knowledge
Positive customer feedback / increased sales results
Provides timely and relevant reports to management about potential new market opportunities
Management kept up-to-date on current market trends and opportunities

Typical
qualifications and experience:
At least 12 months customer service experience. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Ability to multitask. TAFE qualification or a business degree focusing on marketing an advantage.
Other relevant information:
Interest in the industry in which the company operates. Knowledge of Microsoft programs an advantage.
