ROBERT NADON,
Software Engineering Analyst, Dell Inc.
“I am a full-time employee, father of five, and the only income feeding a family of seven. If I can complete the program, anyone can. Virtually each and every
class I undertook, I frequently found areas of my workplace that could be improved with my newly found skills. Ironically, I
believe that this program, taken in large part in case I was adversely affected by a lay-off,
actually was a factor in staving off a lay-off.”
“The UT Software Engineering Master’s Program provides an excellent learning experience for software developers to better manage software projects and products end-to-end. The knowledge is directly applicable to IBM employees who strive to be technical leads, software development managers, project managers or product managers. It improves their efficiency, project delivery, budgeting and decision making. I highly recommend this program for its potential to help you grow your career.”
“Successful enterprises seek out and prize employees who can apply engineering principles and practices to software systems. Business executives have indicated that such people are rare. The Software Engineering Masters degree program at The University of Texas offers courses, projects, and a professional network to accelerate your career as a valued professional capable of designing, deploying, sustaining, managing and leading the software systems that will be critical to virtually all businesses for years to come. The Cockrell School of Engineering is ranked 9th and the Electrical and Computer Department is ranked 7th in the nation – graduating from UT and from a highly-ranked degree
program will set you apart from your colleagues and mark you as
someone of distinction.”
